Does SSC cover your return shipping if she looks like the statues we have seen here???

They just tell me to smash it and get a refund. Too costly to send it back.

If there are replacement parts then they just send it out and get me to destroy the damaged piece if I'm happy with the replacement.

That's right. If it is a full refund I would have to destroy the body, base and send them pictures as proof before refund is issued.

Ok, I think its a sign.
I'll have a think about it for 24 hours and then decide. The order won't convert until beginning of February anyways.

I guess if they will replace any messed up pieces then yeah it is up to you, but I am not sure from previous posts if here ARE any "suitable" replacements. I am getting the impression that the messed up statues are the MAJORITY this time.

On mine fingers and hair were broken and have been badly fixed before shipping: shameful!!!
Not to talk about white spots on her arm and scratches on the base, and a broken finger during shipping

I can't believe that they would try something so sneaky like glueing the fingers back on and hoping you wouldn't notice. What kind of business are they running?
If they let things like that happen it makes me a bit concerned about buying from them.

Not to sound like I think thesis forgivable but is there a chance that this was all dine by the factory without SSC proper KNOWING it was THIS bad?? In which case they need to fire the factory period???

Umm... that is the definition of either incompetence or negligence. Pick which ever. SSC are still responsible for overseeing the work.

I understand what you're saying but in my eyes SS is ultimately responsible...not a piss poor factory

Cavalier is more like it, as in

I got mine notice today about them checking to see if there's a replacement. If they can pull through I will forgive them. If they don't have any I will be so disappointed.

Imagine the value of this piece years from now if you are lucky enough to have a good one. There may only be a couple hundred good pieces in existence.

Well I guess I'm one of the luckier ones. Reg 153 arrived today with no structural damage and decent paint applications. There is a little red spill over on one of her webs and the black lines could be crisper but all in all I think I got one of the better ones. Hopefully everybody who wants one gets a good replacement.
