Amazing! we get a figure from Phil Coulson Character and no Alfred for Batman, still looks cool like the Cap cards!

My hat is off to anyone who would dare take bleach to an item like this suit, in the hopes of dyeing it another color; that takes a level of courage I would never be able to muster.

Stuff like doll/action figure clothes tends to have a lot of polyester in it, which is completely immune to dyes. I'm just sayin'.

I can't get excited about any PO figure right now with the bombardment of products that are shipping....

...but come next June when the well is dry...he will be exciting.

the weird thing is, when whiplash came out, his suit was brown. Bleaching the suit made it the correct color, orange. But that was probably a fluke at best

I did some fairly destructive customization to my P1 Predator. I'm in the hobby for the hobby aspect of it so regardless of the money involve I often will customize.

Nice, but not great. Given that this is a figure of just a dude in a suit with no iconic characteristics, the likeness would have to be absolutely spot on for people to know who the hell it's supposed to be and I don't think the likeness is all that good. Factor in the fact that the likeness will likely only get worse in the production piece, and it's a certain pass for me. Also, what the frack is up with the sunglasses? They look like welding goggles with leather patches over the eyes.

It's just like how rescue Cap was $350 at BBTS and sold out. Makes no sense when SSC still has it in-stock.

I think it's really illusion. For the exclusives they probably only get their hands on a handful, maybe even only 1. So if there were 1-4 people out there that were willing to pay that price at this point for whatever reason and wiped out there whole "stock", it will be perceived that they moved a lot more when everyone sees "sold out" on their site.

I think some poor sap saw the 250 price tag at BBTS thinking that SSC had sold out panicked and clicked the buy button, later finding out that it was still available all along :slap :lol

The best thing about BBTS is it's really easy to cancel, no NRD and they do not charge you until it ships. So whoever bought these have several months to change their mind.

Actually, the brown was because of a licensing issue. The orange track suits are trademark of the race track or something to that nature.

Anyhow! I'm planning to start a flex pay as soon as he gets low on preorder. :lol

This thing is so awesome. I have got to have him.

Just a shame we have to wait till June.

absolutely useless release except for the great suit that can be used for all your Reservoir dogs, Pulp fiction, Bond, Rah's, etc customs! I just hope it doesn't weirdly bleach orange like lots of ht fabric does so you can get some more colors out of it...

Thats my plan.

This Suit/Body + Henry Cavill Superman Headsculpt (im assuming) + Scarecrow Tie = my very own Neil Caffrey figure.

SSC doesn't sell to some Asian markets...

But for Coulson.... it's available as a normal HT release for Asian countries .... and are getting it cheaper than SSC.

But there are a lot of people with more money than sense.

The PO price in my country range from $128-$135usd.

This, I believe is true. If they get say...5 figures in PO stock allocated to them and sell out at that price, that's a 100% PO sell-out rate. And because they will rely on people panic buying so as not to miss out on the figure.

Though stated as a joke, I think that you are correct too as it fits in exactly with PCK's post. Even if people do PO him at $250 now, then cancel a bit later on, there will still be people that will pick it up at the last minute when SSC does sell out..

I think everyone is missing the real reason they are more expensive.
If Sideshow have the *TOTAL US Exclusive*, BBTS must have had to order their stock from Sideshow at the same price available for consumers(Or only a very small discount).
So BBTS has added their usual markup, and that's why they have such a price hike.

I already PO'd mine from SS but FWIW Animarket has him for $159.95. I've never ordered from them, I just noticed it in an email and thought I'd throw it out there...
