Welp. I just got mine here this afternoon. Man FedEx gave me a bit of a run around. Far too much work involved for this ugly ass thing. But he's here now....still nicely sealed up in the brown shipper....

so how do you know that it's ugly??

I didnt know there was a competition. And we had the first pics anywhere on this guy

I opened him up.
First impressions is that he is decent. Nothing stellar for myself but I'm sure there will be those who have this as one of their top 1:6s from this line.

Started taking picture and the battery died. Personally I'm glad I have the exclusive as I'm not a fan of the helmet in hand. I just find it too big and bulky on the Pro body....appears just awkward looking. But that's just my manner of taste. His accessories are a little underwhelming...but the price point he is at...completely understandable with today's price gouging.

Will post a few pics in a little while. No QC issues with mine thankfully.

That's why I don't post pics that much when I get stuff. Most people complain about your camera technique, freak out the fig looks like crap out of the box, etc.

I usually just wait until a master futzer posts some nice dynamic outdoor pics, and usually everyone's on board after that.

Btw, I think the fig looks way better with the Cobra Trooper/Black Dragon Ninja black gloved hands.

Just got mine. UPS has been running REALLY late all week!

I can't say I'm a fan of the unmasked head yet. The hair being the exact same color as the head just makes it look unpainted rather than really light blonde. :

And I still really hate these rubber knees. Give me rachtet knees anyday over these.

Got the pair all opened up. Great figures. Knees suck and the flesh hair ain't that great, but everything else is fantastic! The backpack is wonderful. I really like that everything fits inside it. I love that the straps basically get hidden with the magnetic dickie that covers them up One of my backpack's straps is definately shorter (and thus tighter) than the other, but luckily it doesn't look bad with the jacket flap on it. And speaking of the jacket, the pleather is just fine in person. Looks great really.

Other than the knees and invisahair I have no complaints here. Another homerun like the Viper

I really liked the hairline they gave this guy. In fact everything you dislike I see as the best parts to this figure....and vice versa.

In regards to ratchet knees.... GET A LIFE!!!
Actually I'll meet you half way and say the Pro bodies...are just overall bad.

There are only a few of us who get the priveledge of WAAAAAAYYYY overpaying for this figure on Ebay in about a month. I'll let you all know how it was!

If you really need the unmasked head, you should definitely get it off ebay for too much.

You'll have bragging rights that the people who waited until it came back in stock at Sideshow could never dream of.

Myself, I don't do unmasked Cobra portraits.

Can't wait to see what some of the talent around here does with this head and red hair was one of the things I was hoping we'd see. The sculpt looks great, i'm sure a couple people will hit this one out of the park.
