For those of you comparing Bats ES with Vader, and Boba Fett, that's a little misleading. There are quite a few good statues of Star Wars characters by many different companies. How many great 1/4 scale Batman statues are there on the market? That's right. This one. Still think this won't be a highly sought after piece? Is there any other Batman statue you would rather own?

In non ES talk, is anyone planning a special display for this piece? I am considering building one that will look like a building that the gargoyle as Batmans base will fit into. With the statue already at 25 inches tall this turns out to be a huge display.

I will just be happy if I can achieve some ambient light from below the statue to make it look even moodier than it already does.

The building is a great idea, I would like to find a way to incorporate a bat signal.

But great point you had there! Now you got me thinking about this.
I'm just going to keep shut about this unless it happens. I really hope SS does not shock us like this and the Droids set limited at 200 pieces.

LOL that people are still talking about the ES. Maybe SS realizes they overdid it a little? Oh well, live and learn. I'm still not happy about so many pieces being made either but I'm getting over it. If people want to vent about it, let them. The good news is that there are no Vader and Indy PFs listed on ebay right now (they both had huge ES) so Batman could be hard to find... one day. Bad news is that Indy and Darth never sell for more than a little over retail but I'm not flipping mine anyway so doesn't matter about that to me.
