Only reason I didn't PO yet is Im not happy with the fake glowing eyes. Not asking for a light up feature, just don't try to fake lighting on an $800 statue.

While your at it SS, get rid of the cheap orange overspray on the base and legs of the sauron LSF. If you want a glow effect, don't cheap out, put some orange lights in the base.

Can you make one with MOAR overspray Devil?
Maybe some under the nose so he'll look like he snorted a ____load of space dust. :lol

Dear -------,

I wanted to follow up with you regarding your order TB-------- for the Galactus Maquette. I see that your order is currently on hold as you would like to confirm the edition size before proceeding.

Please know this item does not have a set edition size.
Due to the price point and dimensions of this product, we are expecting to only produce a limited number of items which is the reason you see "Limited Edition" listed on the item page.

As there will not be a set edition size for this product, we ask that you confirm within the next 24 hours or by July 13th if you wish to continue with the order so we may charge your deposit. If we do not hear from you by this date, we will assume you no longer want your order and we will cancel it on your behalf.

As always, please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Best regards,

^^^ I really don't care if there is no ES. I just want the overspray to disappear.

However reading Jaclyn's email, its a little misleading. Its almost like she is saying they haven't "set" an ES on it yet but "expecting to produce a limited number", means there is an edition number coming.

Yeah that looks much better Devil. I have to agree that the overspray is not needed. Also PLEASE just put an edition size.

If Sideshow does these two things:

1. Fix overspray
2. Put an Edition Size

I think it will be a perfect statue in my opinion.

:exactly:

This easily could have been a future grail.

Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn you sideshow :gah:

Though I prefer the NO SPRAY version hands down, we can assume that some on the boards & at Con actually like it as presented.:dunno:cuckoo:

Therefore, Sideshow can (should) decide to offer both versions, one for each portrait. Say non-spray with closed mouth, sprayed with open mouth? I don't like it, but at least we can get one portrait right, & Sideshow saves face with their original, though misguided, initial release.

Just to step away from peoples opinion on the overspray how good is the pricing? I mean a LSF for $800 seems pretty awesome to me. Would love to see them keep this up with future releases.

I also know this will be unpopular but I hope they keep the ES open for a little while like the other LSF because quite selfishly I would love this statue but the first quarter of 2013 is a nightmare for me as far as releases go. So many crammed into the Jan - March period it is a joke.

But yeah GW SS on the price etc hope its an emerging trend.

so of all the stupid questions people asked sideshow at sdcc, not one thought to ask them about the overspray paint on galactus while at their booth with all the sideshow employees hanging around?

:slap
