The Avengers was so good its kind of hard to picture how they'd match that quality for a sequel. Sure Thanos would *look* cool wreaking havoc but these characters all have pretty completed arcs at this point.

Stark finally became a true "hero" who does more than battle his own run amok creations.

Thor retreived his lost brother and now apparently is free to visit Earth and Jane at his leisure.

Banner finally has a valid "reason" that his life was saved from the gamma rays through his turning into the Hulk.

Black Widow and Hawkey assumedly have cleared the red from their ledgers.

Fury spent five movies trying to assemble this bloody team and he finally did it.

Cap rides off into the sunset seemingly at peace with his new duties in this strange new world.

I don't know. I like it when stories quit while they're ahead. Of course it'll never happen (what with the multisequel deals and additional films already lined up) but The Avengers would make a nice swan song for this current universe of Marvel heroes.

As much as I hate the thought of these guys not having any new stuff coming out...there are valid points throughout this posted message.

I am gonna have to agree. I like Scarlett and Black Widow but I wouldn't mind if she got the shaft for someone like Wasp, Ms. Marvel or Scarlet Witch. If this report is true, she definitely isn't worth that kinda of money.

Yah, it seems weird that they don't have the Wasp, but refer to Widow as an integral character.

Yah, it seems weird that they don't have the Wasp, but refer to Widow as an integral character.

I can understand them holding off on Wasp to introduce in an Ant Man movie though.

It would depend on what she's doing in the next picture. Though I think most actors are overpaid, I'd rather see the actors get more of a cut than just make the studios richer.

I'm gonna be very disappointed if Hulk doesnt get a film to himself after how amazing he was in Avengers. Ruffalo deserves a film to himself and more than that it needs to be shown to a degree at least what Banner/Hulk does inbetween the Avengers films, he can't just turn up for the big battles, thats not Hulk, he needs to have a vested interest in fighting and a film for Hulk could also further the story of Banner gaining some control of Hulk.

I didn't know she was an "Avengers" team member? I thought she was just some elite agent?

The fact that she got more screen time than Thor, a core Avengers member always bugged me.

Like the old saying goes "Sex sells", and obviously gets paid very well from the looks of it.

An article from the UK says they offered ScarJo 13 mill and RDJ, Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner bet a 50% raise.

So does that mean RDJ's percentage goes up, or that he got a base salary besides the percentage?

btw....for those insinuating the RDJ is getting too old for the part of Ironman, Samuael L. Jackson is 64 and he's getting his own Nick Fury movie.
