I hate this design. Hate the actor. Gonna hate the figure. Hate they rebooted!

It's not like "Iron Man" Marks coz they're just some diff costumes for one character from the one and only U.
Not even like the "Batman" coz there is 4 (w/o TDKR and Schumacher's movies) movies for 2 completely diff Us.
So the point is "WHY I need another Spidey if in fact he'll be differ only in his appearance but not in the entire essence?!"
And that's why my interest in this new movie is purely common.

Ok, I love the Raimi suit look, but really dig this one as well - has a Ultimate Spidey vibe to it. Just hope HT does as they are with the black version and give us a switch out portrait of the actor along with Spidey head

Yeah I loved rami's suit but this one is still pretty cool. However if they would change 2 things it would be perfect:
1) NO SHOES!! I know they are practical but no version of Spider-Man that I've EVER seen has them. Or at least let them be red instead of that bright silver, I mean there is NO other silver anywhere on the suit, why make them stand out any more than they have to?
2) Where's the belt? I know they are trying to be different from the original movies but that red stripe going down his leg instead if across his waist makes him look like he's wearing sweat pants (especially with those shoes)!
Other than those two small complaints, I love the actors (especially Garfield!), I love the main villein, and from what I can tell from the pics, merchandise, and trailers released this movie is going to be AWESOME! And personally I can not wait for this figure!!

Knowing Hot Toys, about a year after the movies on DVD
As for the shoes of this suit, I am kinda hoping its one of those things that you never notice in the movie itself. We'll see

Watched the trailer again, can't wait for the film and the figure. I'd actually love a 1/4 HT effort of this one.

Im just so torn tho. A part of me wants to be excited for the movie and a part of me doesnt want to be let down again. I was extremly hyped for spidey 3. The trailers made it seem like the best movie ever made. Then I saw that garbage and was let down extremly. Everything I've seen so far looks awesome but I dont want to get overly excited.

I don't believe that for a second. There wasn't one movie that, before it's release, you weren't excited about, then as the movie got closer and the hype built and the trailers came out, you changed your mind about the movie?

Yeah - the sneakers look funny. I don't know, I'm going to be positive & give the suit the benefit of the doubt. On screen, it'll likely be a case of us eventually wondering what we were complaining about, when the whole thing comes together.
As others have mentioned earlier though, I'm a big fan of the classic look - it's so unbeatable
