still working on my smiling jack
its endless
cheeks added, nose shortened, lower face remade, eyes are on schedule, nose bridge remade etc.

the moustache and beard is just fimo for placement check and overall proportions-its endless, but i get slowly slowly a jack feeling with the smirk sculpt (probably only me ;-))

:thud: yikes!

I intended to loosen up the belt, but didn't know how to do it.
maybe because I was a bit in a rush when assembling the accessories and the weapons :slap

One thing I would say though is to be careful when doing his bottom belt back up not to do it too tight as its held on by two thin cotton threads which go into two thin holes on the thin leather, which I broke one, it wasn’t until I was messing with the sash did I notice it as its on his hip under his coat. Its beats me why the belt is like this unless they are just following the movie apparel exactly. Anyhow it’s not to bad a spot of glue and all fixed and not to mention again this is under his coat.

yeah, I noticed that too.
At first, I only feared for damaging the belt and the shirt button.
But then I noticed something terrible about the belt.
That cotton that you mentioned:slap
But don't get me wrong, this is a must buy figure for me. lots of accessories and diorama too :yess:

:goodpost:
but its not finished yet-if you would strip the smirk sculpt from its moustache and beard you would realize that it doesn`t look like johnny depp at all

i find that quite true, in some angles it looks as though HT got it right (from a slightly upper angle view) but every other angles he looked a bit off, but lets wait your finished mod and find out. Do update us on your progress! Good luck dude! :clap

Ordered mine last night, I wonder how long it takes to deliver? $27 for shipping... better be overnight! :)

My girlfriend ordered the exclusive Jack Sparrow for me today! Should be here by the end of next week. I can't wait to see him in person, the pictures look fantastic!

Anyone left here have any problem removing the boots? Any dangers to be aware of before I go charging in?

-Sometimes the pegs stay in the boots, sometimes they stay in the
ankle.
-It's a PITA to get the pants tucked bad into the boots
-The folded over part of the boot looks weird now, because I ended up unfolding it to get a better grip on it (I don't know, it's hard to explain, but the boots got un rolled too much, and now it doesn't look right when I try to fold them back over to the proper length)

I don't know, those are just some things to watch out for.
