They both look cut form the same cloth. You could photoshop Peter and the shadow in front of Bane and have almost the same effect. I'm not sure it's worth the argument of which is "better".

Not really. I think what they are referring to have more to do with PP's parents. Which we have not heard yet on screen anyways. (and other elements like that)

This origin has Gwen Stacy, the Lizard, Peter's parents, and mechanical webshooters. Stuff we've never seen with a few similar plot points. Hence "the untold story" tagline.

From the last couple of Marvel movies, (Thor, Cap and IM2) The Avengers actually looks the weakest out of the 3. Especially since Norton won't be playing Banner.

Honestly though. Cap wasn't the best, just a set up for the avengers, Thor was good but again, was just a set up for the avengers and IM2 had so many out of tune parts that it felt pushed or odd at times.

I have to agree... but I still really want to see it. The film just has a whole "done that, seen that" kind of mentality for me. I've already seen Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Widow and Loki in action. Hulk doesn't really excite me after the last two flicks.

ASM has Lizard which should be a treat to see. TDRK has Catwoman, Bane and probably Talia.

there's no way in hell this film does better then Avengers, not when it comes to $$$ anyways. Just based on the fact that the Avengers has so much star power all combined, it will draw even more then Batman. It doesn't mean it will be the better film, but anyone who liked any of the 4 individual heroes will go to see it. I think it will be a little more kid friendly as well; the new Batman films are pretty dark in comparison. ASM will still do well, but there isn't a lot of buzz with it. Most people have prolly never even heard of Garfield, I hadn't before he was casted.

tons of people saw social network and he played a pretty big role in that film. also, emma stone is pretty famous now... plus it's freaking spidey! spidey is an a list superhero. i think this films performance is gonna surprise a lot of people.

I agree... the first official photo of Anne as Catwoman got more press on yahoo and twitter than the Avengers trailer

what is there to know? IM, Thor, Cap, Hulk and ScarJo in one movie is all anyone needs to know. ASM won't come close. Emma stone may be famous and well known now, but she won't draw in a ton of people just to see her.

People still don't even know who Thor is. Spidy is a american/world symbol. What I'm saying is that not too many people are familiar with the avengers compared to spidy. I'm not saying which one is better.
