Great video (more-so, outside the context of this thread):

Interesting top comment:
I ate a whole food vegan diet for two years, in other words, ZERO cholesterol. My cholesterol was over 300. When I removed grains and beans and started eating eggs again (4/day) my total cholesterol dropped to just over 100.

Anyway, I'm definitely becoming more and more of a "Cholesterol sceptic".

To bring this (kind-of) into context:

Only an idiot would say a Double Down is a 'health food' or even that it has anywhere near the benefits of an egg, but:

Where the DD really fails is in saturated fat and sodium, however for those that might focusing on the sandwich's cholesterol content, the above link is interesting.

Those aren't official options. I ordered a side of gravy and Maglor used a jedi mind trick or something.

For people with naturally low blood pressure, high levels of sodium isn't an issue.

From what I understand about paleo diets, cholesterol/saturated fats are not the cause of cardiovascular disease.

Funny how they include all the sauce and ____ on everybody else's food but leave out the "extra crispy" option and gravy on theirs. :monkey1

:lol

Like Devilof said, those aren't menu items. However, I would be interested to see what EC would do to the stats.

What I find odd is that the grilled option has higher over-all levels. Why would it have higher cholesterol?

Look at McDonald's Chicken Select Salad. They used ranch dressing to boost the stats for the salad. That's my point. They should've added the menu options to the sandwich to paint the full picture.

Again, they aren't menu options.

Anyway, only weirdos order it with gravy, and I don't think the EC would change much.

I want to eat all of that! I am a pretty decent eater but once in a while I like to splurge. I would definitely splurge on those fries. I would prefer gravy over chili. But that's just me.
