I love them together . . . Can't wait for Mr F & Johnny . . .

Scratch what I said. Mine arrived, and the paint is superb. The only complaint I have is that the phasing proportion is a bit too sudden. There should've been more transition. Overall Im sticking with the WoM line. Unfortunately only 3 will be made from my understanding. There were suppose to be 1 every month (for 12 months) but it looks like only 3 will be made. At the dinner, they mentioned that sculpting some of the artworks woudl've been impossible (ie-Spider Girl, Black Widow, also there was one with 2 female characters that wouldnt have worked.. Im assuming that was Mary Jane and Black Cat). The execution of SUE is amazng actually. Never judge a book by its cover. Well worth the money.

Sue looks awesome, one of the prettier sculpts. Better than Dagger, and dare I say Scarlet Witch. Bring on Storm.

I like everything but that one strand of hair that is in front of her face. Nice compare shot with the Thing.

Thanks VS and Siren. I am so pumped even thinking what the four would look like when they are done. IMO, the only reason why this size of Sue storm would "get away" with being on display together is we have an image in our mind that the Thing is huge, and in the comics, Sue Storm is small, in fact even in the movies.

@Batman29, nice pics. I'm really liking how this turned out.

*and no, it doesn't look like a man*

Thanks, and you darn right about the man part, she is completely far from it.

Some comparison shots to the Bowen Sue Storm. I have the regular version, have to dig it out.

Maybe SS will do 1/4 scale clear like this? Bowen one was 1/8 scale.

I have to say, as funny and irrational as this sounds because it is "clear", the Bowen variant Sue Storm has some impressive details, and the material used allows the light to pass through it and reflect superbly.

Mine is on the slow boat to Aus now. Glad it turned out well, also I like the way it scales with the Thing. If only I had the Thing PF :)

Thanks for the photo's and vid

Great pics Batman

I'm kicking myself because cmdstore had The Thing exclusive for retail couple days ago. I waited too long and now it's sold out and the reg price shot up. Me thinks the added demand is because of Sue

No problem. I hope yours comes quickly, it is a nice piece. The scale on Sue is about 1/5, whereas Thing is 1/4. Because Thing is so big anyway in the comics, and Sue is short in the comics, it gets away with it on display.

I am hoping that SS comes out with 1/4 scale Sue similar to this, and a 1/4 scale clear like the Bowen one, a really beautiful piece.

It could be. I think the demand is slowly going up because word is spreading about what a great piece this is.

Certainly, the Sue piece makes the Thing more attractive at this point.

Thing is still pretty cheap just got my Ex for below retail a year ago.

Fuzzy, check out some of the completed ebay listing now ... it is selling above retail is some cases.

The thing PF is so underrated. I have the EX and it's one of my favorite statue i have. Sue storm does go very well with the Thing.
