Buying a HT Jack Sparrow AWE (MISB) for $310

My only regrets are:

1. Getting into the hobby late and missing some grails

2. Going to my LCS for comics for months while a Doom PF, Red Skull PF & Venom Comiquette collected dust on their shelves every single day. When I finally got into collecting statues/figures I called them immediately and all 3 had been sold the week prior to the same person.

3. Buying all #1-10 issues of Image & Valiant of comics in the 90's thinking they'd be worth something down the road

4. Giving 99% of my mint, vintage toys to my nieces and nephews. And I had a TON of them

A recent regret is cancelling Hot Toys Barney Ross and then ending up buying him up parted out on ebay. Would have been a lot cheaper just to get the whole figure in the first place..and then I would have had the box.

Also kinda regret starting on ebay - I've spent a fortune in a very small period of time and kept myself in debt ever since.

Getting rid of all my vintage childhood toys in a garage sale when I started junior high. I can always ebay select toys and figures but it'd be awesome to actually have the ones I played with as a kid.

Any other regret is of the "bought high/sold low" variety and aren't really big deals. You can always get more money. The actual figures from my childhood, not so much.

5. Being an early adopter with Hot Toys.
Sure, it's had it's perks with some early grails...but imagine spending full retail ($175+ tax) on a V1 Joker. Yeah...

4. Darth Maul Life Size Bust.
I had the Yoda 1:1 and had an opportunity to buy the Maul 1:1 at cost at my LCS. Problem was that I was really into completing the ANH line of Premium Formats. Instead of allocating my funds towards the bust...I put that money towards PF's of Han, Luke, & Leia. Bad move.

3. Sideshow Wolfman SSE Premium Format Figure.
I've always had some fascination with that classic movie. When Spooktacular hit, Sideshow offered a fantastic 50% deal on some of the Universal Studios PF's including the Phantom of the Opera & London After Midnight (I beleive the color version of Dracula was $180). Of course the SSE Wolfman PF hit the 50% discount quite a few times at Spook. After the discounts, it was only $112.50 (before shipping). I hesitated for too long and missed out adding this piece for a great price.

2. Master Replicas Millenium Falcon.
Had a chance to score one at the end of the Master Replicas era for $750. Nuff said.

1. Kenner/Hasbro Power of the Force Figures.
This is the line that got me into collecting in the first place. Had some fun chasing figs but grew tired of the line just before Episode 1 was to be released. I had a massive collection (7 boxes chuck full of these figs MOC) and the market winded up really bottoming out. I got stuck with these figs for a long time. While I had some great memories of the "hunt" with a few friends of mine, I regret collecting toys in general the most.
