Many of us here feel the same way.
As it is now, it's a rather neutral expression and doesn't fit a dynamic, action-oriented pose very well. Oh well.

Is there a huge request for this on the HT facebook page? Coz if there's none, I don't think HT would even care doing one.

An interchangeable face plate is also fine like what they're doing with the Jack sparrow DX. Oh how I wish...

Unlike Jack Thor does not have a ____ load of hair to help hide the seem of an interchangeable faceplate, it might work with his helmet on but this still won't happen.

How well do you think the Hot Toys Thor line will do?

Just wanted to see what people think. I'm thinking if the movie does well then the Hot Toys figures will gain value and will continue to make more figures for it. I'm just worndering if i should jump on this like I should have on the Iron man line. Now unless i'm rich there is no way i am getting the Mark I figure.

My suggestion, buy what interests you and what you would like on display in your home.
If you are considering about buying incase it is an investment opportunity (increasing value), invest in something else (savings/stock market etc), not toys.
Just my opinion anyway.

I pre ordered this as I do like it but most of all I don't want to regret not getting it like a lot of figures I still kick myself for not getting. Like OC Bats, Mark 1, Mark 2, and the Batpod. I had them all in my hands at one point and made the mistake of putting them down. Now there is absolutely no way I can afford them as they are too high for my budget.

The positive reviews of the movie are getting me a bit more pumped for this fig :rock

Yeah give your money to the Bankers, you know it's safe with them

quoted from reviews:
Branagh succeeds in making Thor accessible, coherent and engaging. He takes something that could have potentially been silly, and crafts it into a big, grand, visually impressive slab of superhero cinema.

The most problematic hurdle in The Avengers' path is cleared with ease and some style by a film that makes a virtue of its inherent silliness. You're up, Captain America.

thor is currently enjoying 92% ratings in rt(out of 14 reviews so far). wow. everyone thought hemsworth did a fantastic job(and some commented on his huge biceps). i think he have a winner. :yess:

on the other hand, i still think cap's costume looks like pijama.

Argh I want to know if this figure comes with a body like any of the T800s and not the Barney Ross body

if I like the movie i'll end up getting figures from this series...but as of now both Thor and Odin are a pass...
I hate to say it, but I may have to pass on this line altogether.

I am an Avengers fan, however, so Thor may still be a figure on my shelf, but not just yet. :)

I guess if Thor and Odin sell, Hot Toys may consider making Loki next, as that seems to be the logical runner up.

Saying "Hot Toys" and "logical" in the same sentence doesn't sound right. :thud:
