I read Batman from DC so its all good. Reading the comics though helps you appreciate and understand why they did what they did in the movies. Also watching the extras lets you know they're thinking like the comic fans as a whole I think.

Thats cool. You seem like a cool person here. I'm just giving why from my pov they did what they did and all that jazz. HT makes some of the coolest ____ around. If you really didn't care for the movie and still want figures from it by all means its your money is the way I look at it.

As much as I like Iron Man probably not. However, there have been films like "The Expendables" that did let me down. Until I see the Director's Cut Stallone is working on and I see if that changes my mind I will not be buying his figure from this movie. So yeah a bad film can keep me from buying a figure no matter how cool it is.

Hello all, from the MK IV boards. Trying my best to chose between both models but really struggling.
Can seem to find a solid answer, doe the MK VI have good articulation range ?. I love the promotional picture of the IV doing a punch to the ground and I'd hope for VI to do the same.
Things like this could turn the balance of my decision.

I'm sure it'll be worse for decision making when Mark V's photos are all fully revealed.

Sell all your inferior necas and buy both!:D

..:lol..but seriously the VI will possibly be delayed like IV and Warmachine so it may be best to get the IV when its released and when the VI finaly comes out you will see how the articulation is and whether it is the same as the iv ..and then you can sell the iv and get the vi if you want ..or just buy it and have both if you have the money saved up.

O and those proto pics of IV hitting the ground ..ya the articulation is obviously an improvment over Mark III's but i'd still take the poses in those pics with a grain of salt, we won't know what the articulation is truley capable of until we have the fig in-hand.

I am going to be listing 2 Mcfarlane Predators on ebay tomorrow to try to get some cash in the bank as it is.
A suggestion from the IV boards was to get IV and sell and upgrade to VI if I wanted. Sounds like a plan, just need to find a UK source for him now.

I just want my mark 4 to be able to punch the ground. I really hate the ground. :rotfl

Same here. I just does nothing but lay there and thats it. Pfff :slap

Hope that now I'm decided on getting IV I can get him cheap and that VI delays and allows me to either get as well or replace the IV (if the in hand comparisons favour one over the other).

I just love the battle damage options for VI. Would be awesome if some point we get a " Ultimate Super Complete Custom Edition Iron Man". Has all the parts to make any version of IM in one box. Totally a fan dream but still, its all I have. :panic:

I'm sure most people will just post their IM standing still so that they don't damage the figures, hehe.

True. I do hope that if I manage to find a MK 4 for sale that once I get him he can take a good pose. I try my best to get everything looking better than a basic school photo stance.

Getting a IM smashing the lazy ground would look great on display.

I think the chin look smaller because on IV because of the angle the head is tilted on.

Yeah, I think it's gotta be the Mark VI for me!

I like all the cool gubbins and he is a bit bulkier looking.

Will many be ing buying both I wonder!

I've got both coming myself as I want all the versions of the suit. If you want one that gets more screen time the Mark VI is the way to go.
