It was due next month anyway, but I think due to recent events things are in a state of flux. Expect some announcement soon though.

I have no details on what version it will be.

Hydraspawn is a member over at the spawn.com forums and there was a thread in which many people were blasting him for this...the thread has since been removed.
Pretty low class manuever in my book, and an obvious sign of no respect.

IMO what HT is doing is quite similar. But whatever dude. I don't think Michael would care. And I sure would like more MJ HTs now that hes gone.

I'm betting that they are trying to get the license for his Thriller version

I think a Hot Toys Thriller Michael would be a fitting tribute to one of the greatest musical achievements that I have been exposed to. I would proudly display that in my collection.

My guess is that they round out all "M-Icon" figures at 3. Maybe another Dean and another Brando too.

No, a cosbaby license don't necessarily translates to a M icon license (1/6 scale). Just like they got the license for Star Wars cosbaby look alike license, but fail to get the MMS ones.

the Thriller license was in the middle of a turmoil due to John Landis suing Jackson over royalties... so that might never happen...
