Hrm :/ I wonder if anywhere else will be able to gaurantee it, cos in two months it'll likely be too late to try anywhere else... But if Kit can't get em then who will be able to? Or order from Sideshow afterall....

At least if you are in Europe ordering the Special Edition is a rare case where ordering from sideshow (with extra import tax and shipping cost) will cost nearly the same as ordering from kit.

So if you are from Europe and really wanna make sure to get this then order from sideshow.

I will get the „standard special edition“ from kit, don’t see myself using the extra head anyway.

Ordered there a couple of times, since they are „the“ official reseller for Hot Toys, they always come through I suppose. Delivery times may vary, depends on the batch you are in.

Ended up ordering with Toys on Fire in the UK. OSK felt like too much of a gamble and it's not that much more than Sideshow once you factor in Shipping, VAT, Duty & Handling fees.

I do wish TBA still did pre-orders though

I do have to say though that I have ordered with OSK several times, and I have never had a problem with any shipment.

That said, I live in the US and I have ordered almost 30 figures from Sideshow and have NEVER had an issue. Timewalker is great and super reliable as well.

Yeah OSK are great I've ordered there a few times it's just that order isn't guaranteed on this particular item.

Supplier cannot guarantee preorder 100%, we will know within 2 months if order is secured. We will refund you the deposit payment if we fail to get you the figure

I went with Sideshow. Still stinging that I didn't just do that originally when the code was working, would've been $39 AUD cheaper, but nevermind! Pretty hyped, been wanting my first spidey and looking at so many different ones, was super keen on the final suit tom holland one due next year (can't believe this one is affffter that one - man, woulda been so cool if they really were coming this year as originally stated), but I love the ps4 vidyagame and I bought a ps5 for Final Fantasy 16 recently which I loved so now I'm eagerly awaiting Spider-man 2 in October, hopefully I love that too and I'll be even more excited to get this...one day heh

If it's starting soon, I would email them and I'm sure they will adjust the dates to reflect the release dates.

Just talked to someone and they said that they'll send out an email by the end of the week updating the payment plans.

I think the suit looks absolutely amazing. I love the detail that Insomniac put into their design and HT has done a great job recreating the look.

A plain jane costume just wouldn’t look right in terms of realism. Look no further than the old Medicom Symbiote Spidey. It’s cool for a direct cartoonish conic look but it would fall apart (quite literally in the case of Medicom) as soon as you put it up to one of the other pieces.

Indeed, it does look like a suit he made himself, and not a symbiote.

I don’t know if people complained about the joints on Venom, but damn Hot Toys nailed the symbiote look on that figure.

It’s a symbiote over the top of a regular suit.

I don’t like the joints on Venom.

I don't mind the creasing in this suit because it kinda goes with the symbiote look. It's the regular suits that make me scratch my head. They're horrendous and everyone just acts like it's not there.
