Very cool. Are they his actual cigarette buts? He smoked the same brand as my Mother and Father lol

Tracking from Korea says mine is in the city (LA) so this means stores here should have it this weekend or next week if you have it pre ordered from somewhere in the US.

Says it'll arrive at my house tomorrow, I cannot wait!:panic:

I'll take pics and videos for anyone if interested.

Like all Blitzway products, this thing is hella fragile. Right out of the box, I broke his second shirt snap, which is plastic and not metal for some reason. I also broke off the whammy bar today while repositioning the guitar. Very thin, and will probably break for most people. The hair will definitely be an issue for some folks. I opted to go with the hat, which also has it’s own challenges in terms of positioning; the included a loose ring necklace for the hat, which sets off the bling tremendously. A good selection of hands in different positions. I don’t know if there is a reference photograph for this figure, but if there is, I would like to know where and when it was taken. This to me looks like 1968 but could be earlier. I thought the microphone looked out of place so I kept it in the box. I am waiting on a set of 1/6 scale amps that I ordered for this figure and would love to figure out a 1/6 scale curly cord to connect the guitar to the amp.

It's really annoying that the shirt has plastic snap buttons! Heck give us velcro plastic buttons always break :gah:

As for Whammy thanks for the heads up annoying as you'd think it would be metal less fragile. What are your thoughts on the jacket and tailoring.

Also are the medallions cheap plastic?

Yes, medallions are plastic, but do not really bother me. I wish the jacket was wired, as there could be so many more posing options with it. As far as the tailoring goes, this is always where Blitzway excels in my book. The did so well with Tyler Durden's red jacket and pants, and the quality of the embroidery is outstanding here. the shoes are really well detailed too, but I would have appreciated them to be a bit more flexible; not a huge range of motion, but not bad.

I am kinda baffled at the broken guitar piece and why it was included; also there is a stand for the guitar, but Jimi looks way too awkward without the guitar in his hands. Also, one more accessory is a cigarette (also reminiscent of Tyler Durden), except here, the only place I could think to put it was on the guitar stock, like Eddie Van Halen and Pete Townsend used to do, but I am not sure if Jimi ever did that

Thanks bacon. Great pics. Sorry bout the annoyances. But to me, it looks great. Pops on a shelf.

Thanks for the reply, there's a possible explanation for that guitar piece which relates to another possible Montrey Hendrix. I spoke with Won a while back and he said their possibly might be a Montrey set but not set in stone.

But also baffles me for this set, would of rather have guitar pedal or something. I have Serangs can honestly say if the fur was trimmed it would probably look alot better, though I'd be to nervous.

Congrats man.

He did on occasion put his cigarette on the head stock.
Does the vibrato bar swing freely or is it permanently in place?

Man, and now you got me thinking he would look better with some amps behind him. I bought some amps for a KISS set up I've been working on for years. Did not want to spend a lot on buying the amps so I bought a couple of stacks and made some cabinets and heads to keep cost down. Two stacks might work for this figure, so cost wouldn't be bad.

The figure is based on The Jimi Hendrix Experience live performance on The Marquee Club in London, England, March 2, 1967.
