At this point Harley is simply Barbie. Same old thing with another obnoxious outfit. Poor Wonder Woman doesn't even get a new outfit most the time - just a variation on the color vibrance. And really, how many versions of Batman does a person need?

How about some new characters? Shazam would look great in a display. Or maybe Mera or Blank Manta. Or maybe a Cheetah so that you have something to go with all those WWs. Or how about Arkham Catwoman. Or Batman Returns Catwoman. We are sorely due for a good Catwoman since the TDK Selina Kyle was hardly a Catwoman and who knows if the Zoe version will be a worthwhile character.

With the exception of more Aquaman (how they haven't made Black Manta yet is beyond me), none of that is particularly surprising. Yeah, the over reliance on Batman sucks, but that's what happens when your movie franchise is the only consistently successful DC thing WB puts out. Again, 99 percent of these issues can be traced back to the DCEU's second banana status, unfortunately.

Like, sorry if someone thought HT wouldn't make something for The Batman, but that's a lot surer financial bet than just about anything else DCEU related.

2099 has just been released yet WW has to wait till 2022, it just makes me feel like it'll be delayed indefinitely like Gamora.

Toyfair exclusives always have accelerated releases.

The figure I want that will never happen is the Jean Paul Valley Batman skin from Arkham Origins.

Like I?ve always said, I just want more Arkham figures. Look at prime 1 Arkham knight line. Perfection. Imagine a Catwoman, riddler, two face, killer crock, bane, penguin, they would sell like ice cream during a heat wave. It?s why after I get ant man, endgame Hawkeye, Thanos, and captain America, I?m done with hot toys. I?m on to statue collecting, where all the actual good DC pieces are.

I have zero interest in statues but I agree that a comprehensive Arkham line is a no brainer.

I?m sorry if this has already been brought up. DC has a goldmine in their TV shows. Imagine if there were 1/6 scale figures from Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends, Black Lightning, Batwoman. Now we have Stargirl, and there?s Superman and Lois coming next year. Oh I almost forgot Green Arrow and the Canaries. If Hot Toys had kept up with all these shows from the beginning, the line would be equivalent to the Avengers line. There are plenty of characters, costume variations, and crossover events to draw ideas from.

Maybe if those shows were any good in the first place...

I was going to say this a couple of days ago :')

In all honesty I would consider Hot Toys dumb as hell to be producing anything from these shows - I'm surprised enough as it is they're doing a CW Flash. The only way anything from old DC properties or from TV shows will be made is if Howard really wants one to be made. Because if I was running the company I sure as hell wouldn't go near making things that won't sell.

I've got CW Flash on PO. I like that show as cheesy as it is, but haven't totally gotten into the other shows. I'd take a CW Superman for sure though.

Too bad those shows are awful. :huh

Hopefully after the DC fandome event there'll be some more hype around DC. And with not much coming from Marvel for the near future there can be some focus on it.

It could've maybe been a good idea to do figures of the CW shows when they first started and were fairly popular. Now, though, their popularity (and quality) has fallen off a cliff, with the ratings being barely a fraction of what they once were. I'm surprised we even got the Flash one, although given that it's still sitting around on every site for pre-order I'd wager that's the only one we're getting.

Have you not heard about the TV Shows?

I have - but I only care about the films/games so it doesn't bother me too much. I only collect from the films also so it really doesn't bother me too much.

Going to be some stellar stuff shown for the Batman, Suicide Squad, Black Adam, WW84, Flash and two games I'm sure!

I'd happily order official Hot Toys figures of Melissa Benoist's Supergirl (original costume though, not current), Katie Cassidy's Black Canary and Katie Cassidy's Black Siren. I love those three characters so much.

Don't get your hopes up about The Flash and Black Adam movie panels. Flash is only a 10min panel b/c honestly, what can they show? The movie isn't even in production yet. Black Adam is the same, but since it's The Rock they're gonna give him 5 extra mins than the Flash. Maybe some concept art or a look at the suit but from what ppl are saying probably just letting fans know who else is being cast in the movie. The other's are guaranteed to have trailers as well as Synder's JL.

The CW shows are cheesy, but I do like Sarah Lance's character, White Canary. Would like to a see a figure for her, but I highly doubt that hot toys would invest in her or any other CW characters.

I think they are just testing the waters with the Flash hot toy, since the show is popular. If they were to announce another hot toy, it would be probably be Green Arrow or Supergirl.
