Either way whether you see it or not, they'll be another one released. There always is. They'll be a Joker v2 most likely ala Jack Sparrow sans Jacket and blazer with a new HS. I'm sure that HS will be paint wiped and worse case scenario you snag one of those via eBay to put onto the existing figure.

Its Heath, my wife can see it and she usually never sees the likenesses and I can see it as well its just the massive amounts of paint. Heath himself doesn't look like well....Heath in full white Joker facepaint, its as it wipes away during the film it looks more and more like him. I guarantee you once some customizers have this in hand and repaint the face with more of a wipe away look it'll shine.

Most of us can see the Heath in it cause we know it is based on Heath. But the real test will be to pick someone off the street who doesn't know about the movie and ask who is looks like. There when I bet that they won't be able to tell who is it.

The bale sculpt on the other hand, anyone can tell it's bale cause it really looks exactly like Bale. I first thought the nose and the jaw was a little wonky but after watching the movie twice, that's just how Bale nose and jaw are.

Ledger did not even look like himself as the Joker with the facial scars, makeup, and, the weird mannerism the actor imparted. Sure it's not a perfect sculpt in regards to likeness, but overall I think it will be a really nice piece never the less.

No one is disputing the fact that this is a really great Joker. I mean the sculpt captures the deranged psychopath look perfectly, just not Heath as Joker.

But as with HT stuff, they first try on a likeness tend to be a little disappointing. It's the next version that will be a big improvement. (look at how much Stallone has improved)

I don't really care if I see Heath in it or not, as long as I see the Joker as he looked in the movie. When the makeup was full and thick you didn't see a lot of him anyway. I hope people who are buying the figure at this point and (if they are)overpaying aren't going to be disappointd when V2 comes out and V1 price drops.

Can someone confirm this for me? The Joker is still set for July release but the Original Suit Batman has been pushed back/delayed?

They still have auctions for both figures up, and both figures are listed as "In Hand, Ready to Ship"

Well, I don't think it looks like movie Joker, but I think it looks better - the movie Joker is rather youthful (Ledger was only 28 when he died) this one looks more crusty and weathered.

Wow, judging by those photos I totally don't regret ordering this one!

Don't think there's a need for a V2 the way they needed to do a Superman or Batman Begins V2s due to the crappy headsculpts on those.

Really!!!???!!?! I hope that's true because i wrote them earlier this week and asked them if they would get them this week or next like so many other places and he said "Yes, in August" I just have the Joker on order with him.

1- The eyes, they are so much looking up.
2- The paint is not really well made because he looks a little older than the movie.
3- The color of the hair.

The last email I got from Hot Toys was that Batman should be ready to ship either the week of 7/21 or 7/28. I know that we just received our Batman Busts from Hot Toys this past week and are awaiting the Joker Busts. I would have assumed these would have shipped before the figures did...

I have an email in today to hot toys to inquire about 2 things

a) the ship dates of the Joker and Batman figures
b) the availability of ordering more of the following Original Suit Batman, TDK Suit Batman and Joker


Once I find out the answers to both those questions I will let everyone know what is going on..I received a ton of emails and pms asking about the availability of more figures as well as a firm release date so when I have the information to pass on..which I am hoping will be late tommorrow (monday in hk)..
