I'm on the fence. I'm only getting one Cap for my collection, and I am conflicted between getting this or pre-ordering Endgame Cap. I really like the style of this all-black Cap, I can get it now, and it would pair well with my Mark 46 Concept Iron Man. On the other hand, Endgame Cap has more accessories, in his classic colors, and would go great with the Mark 85 I'm getting (I'm not getting Rescue. Just not my style).

Agree with Jye. Also Concept Cap has plastic or rubbery upper sleeves and while it looks great it also reminds me of a tire and is a potential stress point in time. HT didn't fall over themselves with this release no head sculpt. Also since he's black and white the skin tone is pale.

For sure he looks cool but it's like the TWS Stealth Cap more of a niche figure. Depends on whether you want a classic look or feel like #!#* it, I collect what I like best. Either way is fine but picture ur shelves in a year. This Cap IS a "10 year" release so there's that. Great box art IMO.

Thanks for the advice everyone. You all convinced me to get the EG Cap. I figure that trying to get it later would cost me a lot more while the Concept Art Captain I can get at a later date and not be price gouged too badly on the second hand market.

It's tough bein' on the edge. I have classic Caps and Concept Cap - but if I had to give one up the Concept would go. 'Coz he's a "concept" - I mean over the long term I'd look at my shelves and think "oh look, Cap is dressed in black" - 'coz it's CAP - he's all about red, white and blue, and variations of that.

And it was a lazy-ish effort on HT's part. Do like the fig, but I knocked the price down with SSC reward points to get him.

Got the full breakdown article and gallery up for the Hot Toys Captain America Concept Art Ver. posted to Kuma Style. https://kumastyledesigns.com/hot-toys-captain-concept-review/

Article breaks it down by category but overall this is a 7/1o for me. It's darned good but feels like an incomplete package not coming with an unmasked head or shield holster clip for the back (I actually used a paperclip for photos.) With those things and maybe some more room for articulation range in the pants this would have definitely been a 9 at least.

Here are some picture from the gallery portion:

While this cap is still the best body wise that HT has produced these pics (excellent in quality BTW) still show how lacking the this body still is. That man of steel body swap is to this day the best thing to make cap look like something just about perfect on the display shelf.

If you want him to look like he has a 16 pack :lol

The torso is waaaaay too long with that mod. As nice as it makes the traps area look. Think this cap is still the best I've seen.

awesome pics!

Thanks a lot, guys and Hokie I honestly really like the look of that swap; the lower body more than anything. I won't be buying a freaking superman anytime soon to do it but credit where due.

Takes modification, but the silhouette of the concept version shouldn't be the main reason for purchase. I personally don't like the all black look, he's not Batman.

I don't really know what you're talking about or how it relates to my post.

I wonder if you could Frankenstein a MOS and usual cap body together by swapping everything above the ab crunch joint on the former onto the latter body.
