That doesn't look bad but I don't like that the flames are different colors / texture. Love the piece though, looked at GG GR for a long time as a possible purchase.

"Some Ghost Rider progress and fire test effects. We only have one prototype so to get an accurate comparison, we repainted the same piece in 2 color options (phew!) as well as added some matte and smokey details to the flame. Yellow flame is closer to the comics and Red is a more fiery option. Which is more suitable for GR? This is a heavy piece... felt like 20kgs and we struggled abit LOL! Which brings us to the point of clear resin - being softer, its likely not suitable (you can see the tires need to support the weight of the statue). But we aren't giving up yet, we're looking into a different mix of resin to get slight clear effect yet balanced strength. Will continue to keep you guys posted on our progress. Gotta keep improving..."

My vote goes for red (with no hesitation... but please, do not give up in the search of a translucent option. That would be real killer). In any case, this is improving... A LOT :)

Red too here but it still lacks black. You need to slap some black on the outer portions to give the sense of combustion in a painted flame

Yellow for the win.

Makes GR and the bike pop way more. Just needs a tad of orange added to the yellow I think.

I will say though, even if XM doesn't end up doing a translucent look it is very awesome of them to whip up two different paint jobs to get the fan's opinions on them for final the production.

Came here to say this. Talk about a company that cares about their clients. These guys deserve all the success they are getting.

Yellow, maybe with more orange(ish) shading. Red looks ok but a little to stylized, on the whole fire isn't really red, even on GR. Paint app looks great though all around.

High five! Welll said :) shows how much they really want to get this right for both XM and their collectors.

I prefer the red/orange colors myself...sitting eagerly on the wl

why not make the part that hold the bike the usual strong resin and just color it with flame effect..then the outer flames are made up of clear resin. Casting wise it cost more but this will solve the flame effect they want and also endure the support is strong enough

I think something between the red and the yellow.... Yellow with a bit more Red or Red with a big more yellow in it would look hot...

Now that's how you get the collectors to buy your product.
