I saw this stuff earlier. They even want $60 for the games. No thanks.

I mean these COULD be wrong prices...but I kinda doubt it. Microsoft probably just felt they didn't want to reveal such a high price when they themselves perhaps feel like the product is not yet worth the price.

It seems like a basic combination of the interface from Minority Report and the computers in Star Trek.

Haha now I just need to get a golf glove and cut a couple of the fingers out for the full effect.

Geez, this thread hasn't been bumped in a while.

Anyone else totally psyched about Kinect coming out in less than 2 weeks. Just got done watching all of the setup videos on Xbox Live and this "nodding webcam" thing looks amazing!!

The Kinect has the possibility to do some really cool stuff, but all of the launch games are just meh.

The only one that looks vaguely interesting is the dancing one and that would have to be based on how well it actually works and how many dance steps they have in there.

My store has received 12 Kinect sets, 4 4GB bundles, and 4 250GB Bundles. Don't really see this selling all to fast though. I would like to get it, but will wait until I see a game that actually interests me.

There was a demo on display the weekend move came out, and the workers that played it through it was very good and responsive.

For anyone planning on mounting the Kinect to the top of your TV, you will need to buy a "2nd party" mount. This one is licensed by Microsoft but not made by them.

Amazon says available Nov 22nd but I saw this exact mount at my Gamestop on Saturday.

my store stopped taking preorders for this a few days ago. still have yet to see a game that actually looks good to me, everything so far seems pretty kiddie.

I'm interested but not interested at the same time. Kinect needs a big hardcore gamer's game at launch, something like what Zelda Twilight Princess was for the Wii's launch.

Count me out until next year.

I'm really hoping the Kinect will bring back the ideas they had with the Camera. I loved the idea of scanning your face in to games so multiplayer had your face on the model.
