With how many FO troopers still left and on discounts, I think they'd do unique troopers first like it's been mentioned. Pilots, drivers, specialist classes. And even then they'll likely be in smaller run sizes like we've been seeing with RO.

Just going off the smaller run sizes comment. An interesting discussion with a shop owner informed me that HT don't entirely decide run sizes on their own. It is a decision based predominantly on orders from sellers. This in turn is driven by end customer pre-orders and some extra that the seller believes he can sell longer term. I would say it is more that sellers are scaling back the "extra number of figures" ordered after they were left with the too many figures from TFA. Guess they thought they could sell more considering it was the first Star Wars in a while and the hype was high.

This all makes total sense for a manufacturer like HT. They need to base their raw material purchase etc on something a bit better than an estimated guess from their side. Therefore only make what you have ordered.

That said, I really wish companies like HT did more customer polls on what should be made next. This would surely maximise sales and benefit everyone.

That sounds like it could be the case. That would mean that Sideshow and other retailers ordered less of the RO figures, considering how many of them sold out before even being released or shortly after. They probably wanted to play it safer so they wouldn't end up with an overload of them. It definitely worked, and in some cases they could've ordered a little more even like with Vader. Surely for TLJ they'll do the same approach with the amount of extra figures they buy from HT.

You should check out JazzInc's throne. Pretty much a guarantee it will be better than anything HT would produce!

Yeah. Expected some Star Wars Ex announcement last weeks from HT as they had revealed another Iron Man EX variant the week before. Starting to wonder if we should consider Stormtrooper Han to be this summer Exclusive or if we'll eventually get a nice surprise in the coming days.

I'm thinking Baze will drop soon. They continue to shown him off at pop up stands and seem to really enjoy featuring him with R1 pieces already released. Unless they hold off for the Disney convention and possibly do a movie promo for The Last Jedi. We'll find it soon.

You're right. I keep checking each day on this forum for something new. It's been very quiet on the new figure front for far too long now.
