I could see Baze being a Con exclusive, given the fact he would be available through the summer/fall at various Asian toy fairs, it sounds like a wise investment for HT.

Unless the trooper design has changed considerably in TLJ, HT is going to experience the exact same problem. Unless of course they produce next to nothing.

If the troopers look the same, it's almost guaranteed they won't make new ones. Why would they with so many TFA figures sitting around?

Poe in Flight Suit would be fantastic since we don't have a rebel flyer representation. Snoke seems like a given considering he'll likely be live and on-screen for the first time (and there's a lego of him already previewed, I believe). Old Leia absolutely needs to happen as she's the missing person in the OT line up. Gotta have her. If I get those three, I (and my wallet) will be happy...

Outside of Baze, I think they may be done with R1 for now. They still have not released Jyn and K-2 which keeps the R1 line rolling into fall, the TLJ will start the marketing machine by September. They still have Justice League and Thor:Ragnorok to cover blockbuster releases and Howard mentioned more Spiderman figures to be shown. So while its possible for more R1, probably not very likely.

You should check out JazzInc's throne. Pretty much a guarantee it will be better than anything HT would produce!

Less than two months now till we see the first of the TLJ figures. None will be at SDCC, except for possibly Poe if he's still marketed as TFA. Though at this point I think he would be included in the TLJ line-up. Excited to see what they are.

The helmet has changed a bit. I don't know if HT will consider that reason enough to make a generic stormtrooper from TLJ.
