Okay okay it's been long enough, here's some pics from my trip!

I only had TWO AND A HALF days in Orlando, which isn't a lot of time, but I had to make the most of it. I landed, dropped my bags at the hotel (I stayed off property at Red Lion Hotel (more like Motel) because it was only $80 a night... didn't feel much like spending a ton when I was going to not be at my hotel very much. It's about on par with a Disney Value Resort and just about as far.

I headed to Epcot for starters.

Spaceship Earth was only a 15 minute standby so I thought it was a good time to get on my first ride of the day.

I used to love Mission Space... now less so. But I went on it again because 10 minute wait.

Test Track had a 60 minute wait but for single rider? Only 10 minutes. I'm making pretty good time!

5 minute wait for the Three Caballeros... how could I not??

Headed to Norway because I never been to FROZEN. The wait said 60 minute but it was more like 45 minutes. I thought the updated Maelstrom was pretty well done for a Fantasyland type ride.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! opened this weekend and I went and got a ton of pics... but I wanna get the WDW out of the way.


Here's Abracadabar... a magic themed bar that isn't open during the day. So weird.

Some portraits on the wall are actual nods to existing disney characters, such as Kaa the snake in Jungle Book and many others.

Moving right along to the next day... day 2 of 3... was all Universal Orlando, but night was Magic Kingdom. Caught Wishes before it disappeared.

Last day of WDW was spent at Disney's Hollywood Studios, just to get a taste of the Star Wars presence.

First up was March of the First Order

What sucks about Path of the Jedi is that it STILL has a preview for The Force Awakens. UPDATE IT.

You're a damned good photographer, my friend. Especially digging your indoor shots of the animatronics and the like. Some of those look like they could be on a Disney theme parks brochure.

I have an annual pass to Disneyland here in SoCal, but I've never been to Disney World. You're making me want to go

Also noticed on your Insta story that you have the cute new vinyl toys. Do you like them? I'm going to try to grab a couple but I generally hate blind boxes and I'm only really after 2/3.

Lendellprime, I'm a Disneylander myself and Walt Disney World is a completely different beast. Do let me know if you ever go because I'll need to temper your expectations a bit. I only have fun at WDW now because I've done it several times and can focus on just the good or new. There's a lot of filler. A LOT of filler to weed through in the first visit that won't live up to the hype.

The Kingdom of Cute figures are waaaay overpriced at $19 each but... they're super cute. I'll post those here I guess but I still have a tiny bit of WDW left to show... stand by.

So Disneyland lost their Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, so seeing Orlando's again was like... everything. Sight for sore eyes.

I left Disney's Hollywood Studios to grab a late lunch at Disney Springs... Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar! This was one of my main reasons for coming to Orlando to begin with.

There's an outside bar and an inside bar

And you can sit in a boat

The menu is FULL of Indiana Jones references but here's just a few

Here's Jock Lindsey. Remember Raiders of the Lost Ark? Indy's pilot in the beginning of the movie? He's actually a real life pilot now retired. He helped the producers scout locations in hawaii and then was asked if he wanted to be the pilot and he actually flew the plane.

This here is a reference to Jurassic Park. During production there was a massive hurricane that delayed filming. Real life Jock Lindsey (Fred Sorenson) flew in and got cast and crew off the island. Great story right?

Well, I guess I have to use actual money.

Love that they slipped in some Rocketeer references!

And there's the idol way up in the top corner of the restaurant.

Any fans of the Adventurer's Club, there's a big face in storage here on the left that was a big part of that bar... and it looks like Reggie escaped.

alright that wraps up my 3 days in WDW. back to Disneyland....

I really wanted to go there with some friends when we went to Star Wars Celebration in April, but I knew it would be crazy busy with the SW and Spring Break crowds.

That would've been great if you could've gone. But yeah Disney Parks get super crowded sometimes. I've only been to Disneyland but the crowds can be insane in summer and break times! Plus like you said the SWC folks going on over to Disney World.

So for those of you who have been to the Star Wars Launch Bays, what's up with the display pieces? The first time I went to the Disneyland one, I assumed that they were all actual movie props (especially the way they had them displayed), but then I came across a lifesize Sideshow Yoda on display. What exactly are we looking at in the Launch Bay?
