Hendo will likely face Franklin with the winner getting another shot at Silva.

Rich Franklin is a LHW now.

I am also assuming that Mir should read $145,000; right?

No that's right, $45,000. But like I said, he'll be getting a PPV Bonus so he'll be making around 2 Million for that fight.

Frank Mir Reacts To UFC 100 Loss, Brock Lesnar

From The Las Vegas Review-Journal:

“I basically was (within) a half-an-inch of catching him.

The only thing Frank Mir was "within a half-an-inch of catching" was brain damage.

Well, they already do come out with an entourage including trainers and lackeys, they wear colorful outfits, they cut promos, they call each other out, they have theme music. Then there are scandals about the refs calling a match too early or something, about guys who cheat by hitting guys in the groin, etc. It isn't far removed from pro wrestling as it stands. But as things move more toward entertainment and less toward "sport," they move further and further away from the "pure" nature of the "sport," as it was originally intended by some. The rules are always changing to make things more "exciting" and entertaining in all sports (i.e. changing the rules in baseball, basketball, and football to make them more score-friendly, hockey lets its players fight, etc.).

this is the sport that moved me off of the fake wwe crap, i would be turned off if this is the road that they decide to take. they will never be bigger than boxing as well if people see this as entertainment instead of a "sport". i hope dana gets rid of those losers that come out on leashes and ^^^^! the rules are fine the way they are, i dont think anything needs to change, i would love to see this sport make it to the olympics one day, and it wont if ppl cant take mma seriously

Watched the Lesner segment on Sportscenter. Apparently, Lesner still thinks he's in the WWF (I refuse to call it the WWE), with this attitude towards his opponent and the crowd.

Hey guys. I don't know if anyone has ever seen this yet but here is Mike Tyson refereeing an MMA match. Believe it or not Mike is actually a real nice guy when I met him in Vegas. But just like Brock Lesnar he turns into a raging monster when he is in competitive mode.

You know he was happy. See.. being a clown CAN pay sometimes.

:lol

Can you post the gif of Bader knocking him out? After seeing this a few times I need something to counter it. I could watch that one again and again...

I know he and Wanderlei met in the middle, I didn't know he was there to stay?

Yeah he moved back to LHW starting with his fight vs. Hamill. His fight with Hendo was also at LHW. I think it obvious why he moved back to LHW: Anderson Silva. Which is why A.Silva fighting at LHW occasionally cracks me up: it's like Rich can't get away from the spider!!! :lol

If Anderson moved up to LHW permanently I guarantee Rich Franklin would go back to MW! :rotfl

Been on vacation and watched it at a restraunt. Fights were good, nothing less than what I expected. First off don't take my statements personally but if you think Brock Lesnar has MMA skill you are sadly mistaken. LesnAr is a good wrestler and athletic, but most of all a fat ass beach whale. Lesnar won via Lay and pound. GSP at least tried to advance his position. Lesnar tried to lay on Frank and win with his weight. I have no respect for this guy now. Lesnar should have never gotten the belt and makes the UFC HW division look like anybody with a big name can walk in and take the belt. I won't be surprirised if Kimbo gets a title shot right off the show (not really, sarcasm). Personally I think GSP is a better WW than Hughes, yes Hughes defended his belt a total of nine times but GSP has faced top ten ranked competion in all most all of his fights. Hendo really impressed me, I thought he would win the first two rounds with control of the fight and just grind out the last round to win by decision, I guess it goes to show you that if you talk ^^^^ to Hendo he just sits back and uses it for motivation and eventually you get KTFO. I was unimpressed with sexyama or whatever they call him. I think Belcher is good but this dude had a hard time with him, maybe it's because it's his first fight inside the cage so we will see. Back to the whale, it's one thing to talk smack before and during the fight but to get up and say ^^^^ to you opponent and the crowd if just messed up and really frowned upon by the MMA community. All of Lesnar's fans I have met aren't MMA fans, they couldn't tell you what any submissions are except a rear naked and maybe a arm bar. They see he is a big guy and say I like him, he's good. Just pisses me off.

So wrestling/ground and pound are now not legitimate MMA skill sets for any fighter or it's because you don't like Lesnar using that?

World Wide Fund for Nature has now dispatched various animals to hunt you down and FORCE you to call it the WWE. :D

Heh. But now, all those "old WWF" fans are helping UFCs buyrates.

Did you pull that off of the sherdog forums?

They are but when that's all you use then something is wrong. GSP used wrestling and Jiu Jitzu in his fight, tried to advance his position, and was humble in victory. Can you say the same for Brock LesnAr?

I dont know why all the Lesnar hating is going on, he just beat the SHIZNIT out of Mir, thats it, no need for fancy jiujitsu, just an old fashioned beat down...

There are several with the same attitude like yours. It comes off as you don't like the fact that a "professional wrestler" is dominating the sport.

You might want to delete those words before anyone else reads them. He's dominating a fairly weak (but growing) HW division.

Lesnare UFC fights

1. Loses to Frank, but does show potential.

2. Wins over heath Herring, tough veteran but can't keep a good win streak and wans.t really in the hunt for the title. Don't know how much Heath weighed at the time.

3. Win over a 46 yeah old Couture, Yes he beat Couture who still looks like he might be able to fight a couple more fights but why the hell did he get a title show??? Plus he had over 65 lbs. on Couture.

4. Win over Lesnar, lay and pound. Had over 40 lbs. on Mir.

I'm not saying he's doesn't belong in the UFC but if you think he's dominating the sport you are completely wrong and that is a ignorant statement.

he still beat the ^^^^ out of Mir.Just because he doesnt do jujitsu or any other kung-fu doesnt mean he cant be good and dominant...

Dan Severn back in the days was respected , he was just a wrestler and didnt have the power and speed Brock has.

I'm not a MMA specialist, but I think Lesnar has his place in that sport.

I agree but saying he's the best and what not is incorrect. He is bringing competition to the UFC Hw division. If he beats Shane Carwin they he should have the belt. Shane has size like him, wrestling like him, better stand up, and more all around. Brock with be a little heavier (that is if Shane stay the same weight as Gonzaga which I think won't happen)
