Looks like he?s shorter than the toys era X-men. Well played sideshow!

Looks like the belt is just plastic and glued at the buckle. The shorts can also be taken off. Still looking for an appropriate seamless body to port the costume over to. Also wondering where to split the costume to get this body out and to put the other one in.

So he just comes with a plain black stand? That’s a bit disappointing considering brown Wolverine and Magneto’s stands both have something printed on. Even a bit of The danger-room or some floorboards would be better than nothing.

Yeah, they really didn?t even try with the stand

Nice pics JediJim!

One disappointing oversight with this figure is that the details on the forearms of the bent arms disappears a quarter of an inch before the top of the glove. This is because the the gloves on older figure were longer, and covered up this section so I guess they didn't bother to put in the sculpted detail--and didn't update it for this release.

Nice pics fellas, I got mine Wednesday. He is awesome. Have not opened him up yet. Only nitpick I see is the belt is way too long

Same here , not sure how to get the extra to lay flat against the rest of the belt

Y’all plan on shaving off the pegs on the arm joint, so the arm joints can get flush? I think I’m going to give it a shot

This guy is actually fantastic in person! Paint a lil stubble on him and he’s basically stepped out of a Jim Lee comic! This is quickly becoming one of my favorite collections- Can NOT wait for Cyke and Gambit to show up....and hopefully some X Ladies soon *cough*Jean*cough cough* or Storm....or Rogue....heck keep em all coming! Xavier, Beast, Sabertooth, Mystique etc etc

Brilliant call with the stubble. I definitely need to remember to add that whenever I get charged the balance for my one. I only received my Magneto at the beginning of October I think so who knows how long I’ll be waiting.

How did you paint the stubble on? Can you please provide some closer shots

Looks great, really enhances the sculpt

@TheRiddler32. I thought that was a custom sculpt. I'm thinking of selling him because of the portrait but your pic makes him look good. Makes me think of keeping him.

Really simple! Get a fairly bristle-y small brush and stipple some place paint over the mouth and upper lip area (kind of a dry bush) then before it’s able to dry take a small thin brush and wet it to wipe the lips clean. Keep applying and removing until you get the desired effect!

Is stippling flicking the brush to get a dot splatter effect or are you dabbing the face with the brush itself?
