Finally got to go see this before the theatres pulled it and my opinion. Ehhh don't get the hype for it and I was hoping for goodness out of it but walked out not getting a lot from it.

The "problem" with the Thor part of MCU universe is that Phase 1 was kept as grounded as they could (obviously not quite as grounded as The Dark Knight Trilogy or Season 1 of Arrow, but what can you do with the characters considering?) Up to the point of Avengers 1 and SHIELD acknowledging that there is something else out there.. Two of the original Avengers are just extraordinary soldier/spy type humans, like Arrow-Oliver Queen and the original Black Canary..
So they gave us the Thor and Asgard that they did because throwing Gods into the world we knew with Iron Man and Black Widow and co from Phase 1 would have been a stretch too far, and made the power gap too large too. Of course a few years later, we've moved on to Ego and Hela and Dr Strange and all these powerful crazy characters.. If they were to inject Thor into the MCU now they'd probably go more the comic route..

But he flip flops all the time. For all we know he may love the mcu. He seems to be enjoying them more and more.
I think ZaCH is the new king of hating the MCU now anyway. I don't think he's liked a single MCU movie since CW.
I'm not a huge MCU fan myself but the only MCU flick I ever found completely devoid of all enjoyment, no matter how mediocre it was, was Ant-Meh.

Honestly I thought it was ok at first. Avengers didn’t wow me. And I would t be as interested in it if spiderman wasn’t in it.
