Sideshow should consider just selling the mug. Not necessarily a Spook version, they could just do their logo or something.

I managed to repair my broken mug somewhat. You can grasp it by the handle but I'm not sure how strong it is. So as long as I grasp it by the body and always hand wash it, it should be ok.

I didn't take pics of the shipping box but it looked as though it had been dropped on a corner. I definitely knew I had a problem when I first picked it up and heard that unpleasant ceramic scraping on ceramic sound.

repaired:

not sure if I'll try using it as a mug. mostly likely it will end up with pencils or flowers in it.
