Whats with this talk of shaving pubes ? The storm is really making people uneasy I guess.

Meh, I think the Avengers was completely forgetable. IM and IM2 were both better. Infact, I enjoyed CATFA and Thor better. The mind boggling progression (?) of the Hulk makes the Avengers laughable. He tries to kill everyone on the flying ship but then in his next battle is able to Hulk up and punch a ship monster in the face on command? Ah well, I'm not complaining about anything anyone else didn't notice.

TDKR had its WTF moments but actually had some thought and emotion to it.

.

Banner/Hulk was actually manipulated by Loki prior to the Hulk's hellicarrier rampage. You can see their brief contact as Loki was being escorted in prior to his brief incarceration. All part of his evil plan too in order to remove his enemies.

still doesn't change the fact that Nolan beat us over the head repeatedly saying Batman was a curse that destroyed his life, and Blake should have never received it, Nolan is contradicting himself in his own movie :dunno

It seems the only one who got their head beaten was you. :lol

lol, you know what I meant. Nolan completely contradicted himself, (from 165 minutes of preaching how being batman is bad) to just be like "Hey this nice guy can be batman, Lets just forget that it destroyed Bruce" :slap wtf? that ending is so crappy. Sure that ending was purely for nerdgasm all across the country but it still makes no sense that Bruce would do that to Blake. Specially when he had to FAKE his own freaking death to escape the Batman fate....:dunno

Bruce Wayne at one time had no training, patience or the understanding to be an effective crime fighter. At least Blake would've been off to a decent start will the police training.

But Bruce was trained by Ra's. Who is going to train Blake? Besides Ra's saw that Bruce had potential and taught him to use his fear. Even in TDKR you hear that this is the only way someone could fight longer than possible, or do things impossible. What would Blake use? He would just end up in a casket, especially if he tried to do things like a cop.

besides the fact that Bruce was a millionaire and had the help of Fox. While Blake is just a simple cop that was given all these gadgets and a suit he has no idea how to use or no one's help. he seriously is all on his own, with no training, no fear ideology to use and no help...

He'd survive as robin. Bruce would train him. I bet you. It would be like a Batman of the future kind of thing, plus theres all the training gear in the batcave.

But the other thing is, Robin was never trained like Batman. **** Grayson had the agility and physical abilities from his upbringing in the flying graysons. His fighting and other training came from Batman which he then utilised and put his own spin on and then became Nightwing.

Todd has the same background, but the post crisis Todd he was poor and an orphan after his dad left and mum OD'. Todd was less acrobatic and more kid off the streets but he was always angry, and had alot of anger.

Drake was more of a detective and cool headed, unlike both Drake and Grayson. Theres only Damian who was trained by the league of assassins.

TDKR makes 'Robin' Blake a mix of Drakes detective skills and Todds anger mixed with a semi-appearance of **** IMO.

So really, I think he could become Batman with Bruces training. Bruce retired in BOTF but still taught Terry quite alot....

yeah but Bruce Wayne is "dead" so no training from him

Unless Bruce left him a detailed description of everything Blake won't even do what half of the stuff in the cave does.

Nolan didn't contradict himself. Batman didn't ruin his life. :lol

His unhealthy obsession over his past "misfortunes" did. He was still frozen in that moment of his parents murders. He was still that child. What happened to his friend didn't help matters. He was so deep in it that he had to figuratively kill off his old life and leave the city of "pain and tragedy" to get out of it.

He didn't "abandon" Gotham. He fought hard and succeeded to save the city from complete annihilation. He put blood, sweat, and tears into it. Much more than he needed to or anyone should have expected of him. He gave it symbols of hope (which was the original idea) and passed the mantle onto a new protector should the need aRISE.

Unlike in Batman Begins he didn't run away without an idea of where he was going or what he was doing. He really knew what he wanted and was able to get past "teh pain" and not let Batman/Gotham/Fanboys completely consume his life unto death.

Bruce is finally living.

Man, is this movie still being dissected? :lol Good Lord it's not that deep of a movie. :lol

hes not bruce either. he's nobody now since bruce is dead. bloood and sweat? he didn't do any crap fer 8years. the character always lies to everyone. it would be like tony stark quitting not just iron man but as tony stark the inventor just to live it up in france with pepper or something. he's not even interesting in tdkr. doesn't even end with batman, it ends with a lame-o character we quickly introduced to with bad script writiing, c'mon don't end batman that way. bruce and batman suck in this one. begins and tdk are better

Couldn't have said it any better:lecture

Does anyone know if the trilogy blu ray contains the Art of book? The covers look similar.
