Nice, but I don't like the part where it says that it won't support every Steam game that's available. I have about 90 or so games on Steam, and I'm not gonna drop that kind of money when I can't play most of the games in my existing library.

This is during the launch. They are working to make everything that is still available on STEAM compatible.

So for example Ghostbusters TVG would never be compatible because it's no longer available on Steam. It's just their own Valve titles they mainly want ready in time for launch and more will be added as time goes on.

I have just over 500 Steam games so I'm really looking forward to this.

The only ones that can be added are the ones that the developer themselves update to support it---Valve can only add their own games and try to convince developers to support it as well.
Of course, you could install Windows on it, but then there's no point in buying a Steam machine.

Spoken as a true STEAM shopper! I salute you sir! :duff

I've been dying to play it. I highly doubt we'll see cheaper until the summer sales though.

75% off or GTFO. :hi5:

EDIT: May seem to be a bit of a hypocrite with Ducktales. Capcom, however, doesn't discount games often.

Anybody played State of Decay yet?

Thoughts??

It's a great game. Like GTA but Zombie Survival Edition. They have released a few recent patches that have broken the game for me. The patch has prevented Main storyline missions from popping up.

Throughout the game, you do "runs" to other areas to get food, ammo, medicine, and other necessities. And when one area is dry of these supplies, you and your survivor community have to pack up and move to another area in order to make less distance between you and your needs.

But without the main storyline missions, you cannot move to a different area. Therefore - I have been doing runs and having to drive further and further to get supplies just to keep everyone alive. Therefore, it is gamebreaking.

The dynamic time of day/night system is very cool. I recommend it, just not yet. Because the devs stated their gamebreaking patch is the last patch of 2013. Not cool.

Also, with the winter sale coming up soon I am interested in playing L4D2 and DayZ with some friends if anyone is interested. PM me and we'll add each other to Steam :)

Thanks for your thoughts.

I actually played a bit of it the other day.

I felt the controls were rather clunky, and the graphics seemed kinda dated. Almost like San Andreas graphics but a bit more detailed. Seems like it had a solid game mechanic though. I put about 5 hours into it. I didn't see a whole lot to make me want to play more.

Fair enough, but you must remember that it's an Xbox live game ported to PC. And the game excels because of the systems it uses and not the graphics. To each their own.

Kinda related but not really. Anyone play on Uplay? I think I need some friends for Assassins Creed 4.

Add me as a friend, name is Shropt.

If you are running uplay and AC4 through steam, hit shift tab to open the Steam window and where they have guides on the upper right, theres a thing like a group for people who need AC4 friends. You'll get alot instantly for the community challenges etc.

I'd add you but I've already finished the game and probably wont replay it again too soon since it took 130 hours for the Single Player and I need to finish a few other games first.

Steam is gonna make me broke. Bought 14 games since the sale started, but great prices!!! And amazing how much nicer Steam is since Half - Life 2 era
