star ace should just simply hire a sculptor, a tailor and a painter already instead of doing what they're doing.

Hmm, never really had experience with soft vinyl. Does it have any deterioration like rubber has over time? And how well will it hold the detail of the sculpt. Is it basically a softer pvc?

They last a lifetime.... far longer than your interest in these will.

They'll probably have X-Plus do the work for them. If so, this thing will be extremely detailed and super high quality. Just check out the Kong Star Ace release that X-Plus did. Currently X-Plus has been releasing select items as soft vinyl and they have all been fantastic.

Whatever happened to 'roto-casting'? (I hope I'm using the term correctly). I remember some decent toys back in the day that were poseable, nicely detailed, and affordable. That might work for a figure like this, since we don't have to worry about a likeness.
