Oh my.... My only problem with the 2099 in the game was it looks too blue and bulky. Glad the figure fixed both of these problems.


Always loved the more slimmer look of 2099.

The worker at Hot Toys who suggested to put plastic heads on their Spider-Man should get a raise. Love how angry the headsculpt looks, almost too aggressive.

Agreed with him missing the cape, cant really blame Hot Toys if the game didnt even include it.

Release is Q3-Q4 according to TWL, thats pretty quick.

If I really have to nitpick, that base is terrible.
Him standing on his own head... But thats just my taste, shouldve done something like this.

Not interested, but looks really, really good. They've been making those Spiderman proportions and buffness absolutely spot on. Hopefully these carry over through to other skin tight costume designs!

I didn't know of this suit until the game came out, so I was thinking this needed to be bigger lol. It still looks great though, so I definitely will be getting it.

In the original comics he should be bigger. But I prefer the more slender look for Spidey in general.

This was his first appearance in the comics.

Yeah it looks good, but not that good. This figure could have broken me out of Star Wars only, but not at this price.

The specs say it's a "newly developed specialized body with over 30 points of articulations", so apparently HT realized that too. I initially thought it might be the same body and the suit design was tricking my eyes.

So, do we expect these exclusives to drop at Sideshow ASAP, or will they hold off until Sideshow Con starts on the 16th? I'm hoping it's the former and we get a few more HT releases during the con.

Because people won't squawk at its higher price due to its "limited availability", after which they will miraculously produce enough of them to meet the high demand. In short, greed.

Honestly I always felt the red and white Spidey figure was too short. It never really captured the tall, lanky body he has in the video game, the torso in particular.

This figure seems better proportioned. Would like to see a comparison between the two.

Day One preorder for me. Suit looks bluish to me as well. Best part is since it's a Fair exclusive, those usually come out same year which is pretty fast turnaround (hopefully, COVID-19 doesn't spoil this).

YESSSSSS! Been a fan of the character and suit design since the 90's. My second favorite "Spider-man" after Peter Parker!

Thrilled that they're making this!! A little disappointing it's an Exclusive and not a regular release but happy we're getting it!!!!

Well, in a sense this is Peter Parker (could be Miguel as well). In the game this is just a suit with Peter in it.

So you can interpreted it both ways.

Like I said before, I game, the blue is unappealing in bright lighting. Very happy they absolutely nailed the colour.

To me they just did some muscle tweaks around his body (neck and body) but awesome to know it?s a new body.

I have already paid for this one on toyswonderland 2nd batch. Guy said he had lots coming in, after I asked him if it was first come first serve.
