i see you're quite skilled at the "blotching" skin texture pigmentation thing going on there.
I don't have the skills to do this, but from what I've noticed in some other repaint artists who tried to give off the "blotchy wax-like pigment" look, they apply that "texture" all across the face and not just on the top/forehead as you've done with John Locke.
I think they use a lighter base color and then add multiple light layers of blotches, but I could be wrong.

once again, I can only observe what i "think" they are doing, I don't think I have the skills to ever try
and i'm not sure on this, but i think they even spray a slight semi-gloss at strategic angles to highlight the pore-like textures?
