Just wait for the LotR variant releases...you all know they are coming. SS loves some variants so I doubt lotr goes untouched.
I would not mind variants of the "Generic" orcs or Uruk, but they could not do variants of anything else.

They could just do fully sculpted variants like they are with Sabertooth.
That would require almost as much work as just doing a new figure.

Yeah not liking repaints is an odd statement. The vast majority of repaints that aren't some perverted dream look far superior to the factory paintjobs.
