I'm pretty sure these aren't going to fly off the shelves like people think. It's being made by an unknown company at 2k with very little press. My guess is it will be around for a few weeks.

No worries it could be a grail. But when another and then another comes out people will have choices. At this price I'm waiting. But congrats to anyone who can burn money. It will be an amazing statue!

Well, a new update is out from Prime 1 saying it will go on sale in June. And for some reason their selling the proto and will ONLY take payment via bank transfer for it. They wont ship the proto until the production are ready to ship. This sound fishy to anyone else?

I preorder it. the first 30 people will get a discount 5 % plus 5%point back, free shipping and a Exclusive item. usually in Japan the payment are via bank transfer for big amount. they alert us that the product can be delay due the production process.

That's what really makes me nervous with some new companies now a days. After what went down with Syco collectibles and its scam artist owner I'm skeptical of any new guys to the party.

While I am hesitant to trust a new company with this kind of money, it a newcomer can put out better statues in lower quantities than the big companies, I'd like to contribute to their success.

That being said, I'll probably only consider this if it's sold through a trusted retailer like BBTS.

Got this follow up email today from BBTS, looks like they will infact be carrying it. Which is the only way I'll order this piece.

So this will likely be a "leap of faith" piece. Probably won't see in hand pics until it's already sold out.

Well at least if and when it comes through to BBTS it should be legit, remains to be seen though and even if they do get it don't know what you would do if you have any breakage issues or anything. I wouldn't order direct on a wire transfer, that ain't the same as paypal at the end of the day, nor do I agree with charging until shipping, so hmmm.

Think i'll watch and see how this goes and if it's all above board then if what get in down the line on a nice Optimus or Bumblebee from BBTS if they prove they're a reputable company and these look nice, Megs isn't quite as appealing as those two to me.

Hi NL99, what is the exclusive? Free shipping applies only to Japan or all. I m not getting this but will be interested in Optimus Prime.
