agreed. i expect at least better quality than sideshow.

I check carefully the description they say this is the production sample
mold and the paint is not final ...so is mean pretty close to the final product.
pretty happy about it.

This looks great! This was always my favorite version of movie Megatron even it's from my least favorite of the 3 films

This thing is what? almost 3ft tall? Price doesn't surprised me all that given it's size, made of polystone, intricately designed with switchout piece, lights and IF the paint comes out like that or better. If not, then not worth the price. Depending on on the est. shipping date of this thing, I may PO it if it goes up at BBTS

That is very impressive, I think it may go with Optimus from SS. Optimus may be a bit to small though.

I think Prime1 will make OP, probably better than SS after seeing this Megatron. They seem like self demanding.

Hell, Prime1's Megatron makes SS's Optimus maquette seem amateurish at best. We all wanted light up eyes and all that Cybertronian glyphs on SS's Optimus maquette and we got neither. Prime1 has given their Megatron light up eyes and a ****load of those glyphs and it looks jaw dropping. I'm in for a Megatron and an Optimus and I will be very, very happy. Of course my wallet will be siphoned off but what the Hell.

hey, I love statues but there's a limit on what I want to spend on a brand new statue. I do not like throwing money out the door. If this was 1k i will buy it. So I'm out. Congrats to all who will own this stunning statue. For me I'm going to wait for another at a better price. I'm sure we will get more in the future.

At this scale and detail with light up feature under 2k....unlikely.

If Optimus is out next year and there is not much exciting stuff from Sideshow I will fit this in to my budget. I'm pretty sure it make business sense to them to have Optimus out after Megatron.
