Though I'm not interested in buying it, some of its real strengths are that

a) she really does look lovely - her face is beautiful and it really does capture Carrie's likeness in a very complementary way

b) The body sculpt is gorgeous - the natural pose and the movement really looks natural and pretty; they haven't tried to exaggerate anything so it comes out looking lovely

All in all it's fantastic for what it is, though it's not a character representation I myself am interested in buying. Still, Sideshow deserves full credit for delivery I think.

I'm actually pretty shocked at the hostile reception this is getting. I think it looks great. Of course I already have Salacious Crumb in 1/6 and 1/1 forms as well as on the Gentle Giant Jabba's band statue, but you can never have too many, right?

As for the likeness being better on the first PF, I don't see where people get that at all. To me, the first PF always looked like someone else dressed up as Leia. At least I can see Carrie Fischer here.

Yup, no interest in this at all. Especially with the fact its a sculpted on bikini. Doesn't come across as much of a PF that way more like a Comicquette.

We knew Slave Leia was in the works since alot of time... and she would have popped up a day or another... I don't know what to say, I kinda had the feeling a new PF would have been announced but I was thinking about a Dooku or Emperor... anyway I like it and the exclusive Crumb is cool... now the crumb needs his papi! Sideshow can just make Jabba as limited as the exclusive Leia... I do hope they'll make Jabba... as I said before the Star Wars PF Collection won't be complete without the Jabba the Hutt Premium Format.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Leia was never some space vixen, whatever the fan boys may have thought. I'm sure she hated being in that thing - she was a rebel and a fighter, not some floozie off the street. This PF captures that perfectly.

That's one reason why I'm not crazy about that Gentle Giant piece. In addition to the fact that the likeness seems worse to me and she looks a lot more voluptuous than Fischer ever was, she has this "come hither" expression and pose that don't really make any sense. Who is she meant to be seducing, Jabba?

Another re-peat in the PF line. This almost makes me want to sell my PF figures. She dosen't fit with any of the others. And this figure has been done by every other company. If the price is right I'll most likely get her, but where's the Emperor, Stormtroopers, Dooku? I guess I'll never understand SS choice of characters to be made. How hard is it to make the right characters?

She fits with Boba Fett who's from Return of the Jedi.

This looks really good, but unfortunately I'm not a PF collector. For exactly 1 second I thought we were finally getting a good 1:6 slave leia to go with the Jabba setup, with some sort of Hot Toys skin covering over the joints. Damn it. But the sculpt on this is absolutely beautiful, no doubt. I'm shocked by the negative reception thus far.
