is it the photo or is here left eye a bit bigger than the other one?

Who here does great paint work on statues. I wany my poison ivy to be repainted or touched up eyes around the face vines leggings etc. My replacemeny was clearly better but still not satisfied.

You didn't even open it, correct?

Yeah. I think she turned out great and accurate to the promotional shots for the most part, but I just wasn't satisfied with how she came out as a Poison Ivy statue. She looks too much like a porn star doing an environmental sex video. I would have liked her stomach covered, her skin actually green, that gap below her crotch removed (it looks REALLY unnatural, her thighs should be touching), and probably a different pose with her arms I think those were missed potential. It's a good rendition of the source artwork though I just think that wasn't the best reference for the character.

So since I had those kinds of thoughts in the back of my head when she came, I figured I should just let her go now rather than later. I need to cancel my Superman PF. I seriously need to think more before preordering these. I'm glad I resisted going for Harley Quinn.

Seems like a lot of people had minor problems but I haven't really seen many major ones. Would you guys classify this PF as a success, moderate, or failure when it comes to quality control? This is one of their bigger edition sizes and it's a female sculpt released after so many female disasters.

Got mine before 3 weeks...the whole statue is very well painted, even the eyes are really beautiful,but....cant fix her in the base.i would call this a MAJOR defect. For me,this PF is a failure...

And...i'm very disappointed about the Sideshow customer service/returns department.Got this answer after 9!!! days (for me it's an impudence):

"Please note that with this item having four separate pegs and peg holes you need to align the item a little bit more so that it sits properly on the base."
:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:
It's the leg and not parts of the plant.I can't align this...
I'm so sad about that all...nearly 400$ + postage + customs duty (around 550 bucks all in all) for an not to use piece of polystone...:gah::(

I've just took my Ivy off her base and squeezed her legs together, just to see and it moved about an 1/8 of an inch. I think I could've moved it a little more too. Have you tried to move/bend it yourself to fit her in the base? I think it maybe worth a try. Your peg doesn't seem too far away from the hole.

Some members have mentioned in the past that applying heat from a hair dryer can make polystone more bendable (so to speak). I've never done this myself though. I would just bend it with my hands when the statue is cold.

Again it's worth a try. Please be careful and good luck! ;)

They seem very close. Sometimes you need to "force" the parts in place. They won't break. Look at Catwoman Black and White, same issues. Try the air dryer if you feel you need to, but tese pics seem like you can move the pieces a bit. Mine neede that, and it's perfect

I do not own CW but my Neal Adams Bats had the same issue. I was worried putting the pressure and breaking the leg. So I drilled another hole. Too much pressure might end up like this, a common issue with Daniel Bats:

Plus its a 18"+ polystone statue we're talking about, don't know if it'll work with Ivy, imo.

P.S.: "Mine neede that, and it's perfect", yau saying about Ivy?

i cant wait to get mine hopefully i dont get one that is to messed up the eyes i can fix no problem and any little changes ill make to the vines and other parts

Yes, Ivy. She needed a slight coaxing, not much. Mostly it was the angle of the pin going into the base.
