These things have got to be the most impressive things I have ever used. I have been lucky enough to own an Oculus Rift DK1 and DK2. I just recently picked up the Gear VR for my Samsung Note 4. If you guys have never experienced these things I highly suggest giving them a go. The 3D is like nothing you've ever encountered it literally smacks you right across the face. Gaming and Movie watching is going to change drastically in the next few years. Why watch a movie when you can be in a movie. Imagine standing right next to the Hulk in a future Avengers or hell imagine transforming into the Hulk. It's all possible with this new technology. And from me to you.....the porn......OMG......you'll feel like you cheated on a loved on after doing it. It's that real. If you haven't used it yet, you my friends are in for the treat of a lifetime. Now hurry up and go grab yourself at the minimum a Google cardboard (super cheap). YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Cheers.

I have a buddy that works at id Software and he was supposed to be giving me a demo of the Oculus. I have been DYING to check it out. I may just buy one because everyone I know that has seen it, has the same reaction as you.

I'm hoping they do as much development for these things for watching movies and stuff, rather than just being focused on gaming...
They will. I promise you. This will change everything. In recent years I've bougt PS2, PS3, PS4, X-Box, X-Box 360, X-Box One.........my conclusion after using meh.....bored. My conclusion after seeing this and everyone who I put them on, it's always the same......everyone I mean everyone says..............."oh my god". I have never been so excited about a technology before in my entire life. The stuff that will be possible with this is mind blowing. Because you are my friends I will share this with you................invest in facebook because they own Oculus and Oculus makes the technology for Samsung. Oculus is the front runners in this technology. Also invest in the first 360 degree cameras that hit the market, I'm sure we'll see a goPro like stock. I bought that stock at $29.00 and sold at $95.00. Sure it's back down now but you gotta ride that Pony until it's outta gas. Treat yourselves to at least google card board, just so you can wet your appetite. Like I said before the porn................it's better than some of your real life sexual escapades......I promise. P.S. I've purchased over 50 porn website names knowing that this is going to change the adult industry forever. I'm nuts...........but I can smell money.
It's going to end up putting you in the movies. But, for the time being Oculus Cinema......Kick ass. Put the glasses on and your sitting in an IMax theater with no one in there bothering the **** out of you It's basically your own private 3D movie theater. No joke.
Oculus Rift DK2 = $350. If you have a Note 4, Samsung gear = $199.99. Google cardboard is like $35 and works with any android phone. You guys are like me and we pay a **** ton of money on figures. I promise you this, the money spent on this technology will bring a lot more smiles to your faces than ANY figure. My favorite thing it putting it on peoples heads who have never experienced it before and watch them gleefully enjoy it.

Can you even use or with glasses?
Right now the best one is the Oculus DK2($350). The Samsung (199.99) is the most portable and easy to use. The Samsung gives you up down and side to side 360 degrees movement. The Oculus can determine if you sitting standing and you can peek around corners with it. If you just want to experience this grab the Samsung Gear VR if you have a Note 4, if not grab a google card board(around $30-$40) if you have a different android phone. Once you wanna go hardcore start looking at the Oculus DK2. I use my Gear VR the most and like that it's wireless.
Darkario616 you can use with glasses but it's not as comfortable. They have an adjustable lenses built in so you can correct for your vision without using your glasses. It works perfectly for me but if your near blind your gonna wanna use your glasses or preferably contacts.

I had a go of it a while ago. Its crazy how the tech is so old yet so new right now. I guess it was ahead of its times. I went on the rollercoster in the living room. Was amazing but left me feeling really sick lol.
The newer unit give less motion sickness. I just sat through a 10 minute demo travelling through the brain and a 5 minute video of 30 sharks circling me. The new 360 cameras are an incredible match for the VR.
