I really wanted to pull of the roof scene looking like this View attachment 195824

Call me insane, but if I can find the original Mk III Battle Damaged for a bargain price and without the rubber too badly faded, I'd seriously consider it, especially if I could get hold of one of the more recent Stark heads to put on it and recreate that scene. I like the darker wine red look, personally.

I really was hoping to create this scene we would have need the mech test head sculpt a battle damaged chest piece and a right arm with out the armor. And you are right I prefer this red wine color

Well perhaps HT can learn a thing or 2 in terms of articulation from the 1/6 diecast figure below for their future releases. :wink1:

I actually don't care for the chest-articulation. It's the gaps between his arms and shoulders that bother me immensely... I hope I can pose him so it isn't that noticeable.

That was a hefty price tag....550 usd shipped by timcent...but the figure is top quality. Only drawback that I can think of is the plastic abs....if this would have been a diecase piece i'd be totally satisfied. Some natural dailight photos. I like the candy apple red...which is probably accurate after comparing some scenes from the movie. Every shot with the purple red paintjob seems to be edited to have it look like battle-worn or during less-lit situations. But in the main scene where tony puts of the red armor the first time its all shiny bright candy red.

Be very careful with the parts around the waist to free space for movements...i scratched one of mine while doing the landing pose.

Nice set of pictures.

Do you know what parts are Diecast on this one?

Why did you spend that much on this just to get it sooner?

I think it's stupid to pay the much just to get it first.

I think anyone who doesnt collect can say the same thing about all of us who pay what we pay, even when we pay normal retail. Xenomorph has a strong youtube channel that people watch because he gets figures earlier than most. For someone to say that is stupid to pay that kind of money is not looking at the big picture.

Unnecessary name calling...

Most of the YouTube reviewers want to get their videos uploaded first. That's the price for doing so...

If he can afford it, more power to him...

Excellent pics Xeno :clap

:goodpost: Definitely agree, Xenomorph is my go to guy when I want to see a good review.
