Hang on a sec.....you mean....we have different opinions?!

Mind.Blown.

I think there is a limit to the humour and this is a step too far.

I can personally appreciate a good take on humor, and it's nice to see that TPP isn't devoid of it like GZ was.

The cardboard box just looks weird, being able to take on functionality that you'd normally find from the porno magazines. But, seeing how much I was disappointed in the overabundance of the dark tones from GZ - I'll take it for what it is.

Beat me? :horror like, in a pillow fight?

Inside a cardboard box. Big boy... :naughty :yuck

:lol :exactly:

The most real, dark and immersive MGS experience ever with the most advanced ai to date... yet the soldiers can be fooled by a man stood in an extending cardboard box with a picture of a comrade on the front

They should have just left those 2 features out, the others are fine.

Yeah, that's why I would have preferred standard porno mags, instead. Seems more practical.

Yeah I hope the game doesn't end up to bloated with extras as this cardboard box is.

I agree even dark stories need humour to lighten the mood but the type of humour used by Kojima doesn't mix well with the game. I think the Fulton looks stupid and will certainly take me out of the experience, especially since we'll use it a great deal

Well, that was.....interesting. I agree with what Frank posted completely. Personally, I've rarely used the box, and while the pop up through the top may and quick bug out may be useful, this whole fake person thing is just too cheesy. Almost like a "solution looking for a problem" type thing.

The box image thing is definitely silly but it's pretty inoffensive and it doesn't really bother me since I don't see myself using it that much. Plus, I'd rather have some dumb humor in an MGS game than without.

If that bit about multiple Big Bosses is indeed true, that sounds like a horrible bit of writing and a for real possible series breaker for me

I hope it isn't. I genuinely want this to be the game where BB goes all true grit on the world and paths the way for the Solid Saga, the series needs it to go that way

A load of fancy graphics and gameplay will never be a substitute for good writing

This is of course if there is truth behind that statement

Absolutely. I've stood by these games and put up with a lot of ****, in fact this is the ONLY game I play anymore. This just moves from complex storyline, to convoluted storyline, to just plain dumb ****.

I realize that new ideas must be included, but what made MGS great was it was a simple snoop and poop game with a great storyline and characters. No gimmicks, none of this base-building stuff.

I just watched it, not that much new from the last one really except as they say they went a separate route, did slightly different things.

I was hoping to see that mother base bit but I guess we'll have to wait

I do really like the advanced ai on it and the learning pattern for them though, that is something highly thought out and developed.

Not tore-open old wounds or anything, but I can't get used the Kiefer voicing him, it just sounds wrong and really lacking in anything substantial and memorable

Love that the enemy patrols/sentries will start using helmets to counteract headshots.
