Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Agreed. There was a lot going when Snake joined Philanthropy. Not only does he does a lot of sabotage work, he also rescued Gary McGolden, a mission that I would really, really love to see as a game.

Solid Snake still has at least one game left.

Kojima tossed aside Solid Snake for The Big Bawz. No question about it.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

So everyone on here has been saying they are sick of prequels, and now want a really irrelevant prequel?

All you guys really want is a Solid Snake game with Hayter voicing him. You can care less how good the Phantom Pain is or any Metal Gear is, as long as those 2 things aren’t in it.

Couldn't care less.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Solid Snake.
Big Boss.

How about a Gray Fox game???
Or a young SOLIDUS game? Liberian civil war.
Maybe even Liquid (depending on how things turn out for "Eli" in MGSV)

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Good post turtle, once again you hit the nail on the head. Thats exactly what we were looking for, just a game with hayter and solid. Pure genius. Tell the mouse he can get off the wheel, isnt he on double overtime right now? His boss is going to be piiiiiiiiiiiiissed............

sent from a tormented past

I’m all for this

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

i can imagine all of those being made, all great suggestions. i guess raiden getting his own game and the ninja cameo could open doors for other games such as those. even what biojex suggested. we lean toward solid because hes one of the main protagonists besides bb and raiden in the series. im actually ready for anyone but bb in a new mgs game, as long as its still top notch. oh yeah, and functional uniforms that make the characters believable. who gives a **** about cosplay anyway? theres better porn out there to look at.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Gameplay certainly looks like Metal Gear. Nothing like Splinter Cell in my opinion.

Nothing like SC except for the "mark" thing and the slow mo, those 2 make things too easy IMO, I hope I can turn them off on a higher difficulty.

Everything else looks fantastic, the mechanics look impeccable, ditto for the animations and loving the sound so far.

I did realise though, I hate how Japanese sounds when not spoken in Anime :lol or at least how Kojima talks, he seems to stutter a lot, but what do I know? :dunno

Yea, I didn’t even know that was him speaking until they got close up to his face.

I hope by tomorrow someone can translate everything he said in that video.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Anyone watching the thing?

I am watching it right now.
