Any pics of Henry Sr. with a larger body? Thinking of buying the figure but I'm worried about the scale issues with the SSC Indy.

The RAH clothes are too small to really fit on larger scaled bodies so that means $130+ for a headsculpt and accessories. If you can forgive a half inch, Medi's short Sr. doesn't look too bad with SSC's taller Indy (even though in real life Connery's an inch and a half taller than Ford). Of course... you could always wait for the inevitable SSC version. Assuming the world doesn't end after 2012 and Indy in German Disguise doesn't tank the line.

I picked up Henry and tried to put the clothes on a Dragon body. It's slightly taller and definitely a bit bigger. To say the least it didn't work. Everything just looked ill fitting and fat.

Still it's a great figure and has the best likeness out of any of Medi's Indy line so far. So far means I'm not including River, who looks awesome! I'll try and get some pics up but my SSC Indy's are on TT bodies now so scale will be a little more off than usual.

Take that with a grain of salt because that 1) Indy isn't on the Pro and 2) the Professors head has been repainted. And 3) papa Jones is leaning a bit. Still you can see they are relatively close and with the Prometheus they are closer, and you can always add extenders. Man, I gotta get around to repaiting that Indy head.

I've got my Medi Jones Sr. posed with one of my SSC Indys (on the pro and wearing a tie of course) and there's not a huge size difference.

He's definitely worth getting if you haven't nabbed him already-- especially if you can find hm at a discounted rate like I did for $100.

Just got my Indy at a gd price of 99USD!!!
Overall, I think he looks great, except for the skinny body & the out of scale hands. Think I shall get Henry senior soon!!!

I can't believe there's only one guy in the whole world selling the medicom massive body (on ebay). anyone know a place I can get a good deal on it?

The more I play around with my Medi Indy the more I like the body its on - EXCEPT for the fact that it's so spindly and puny! If it was a decent size it would be great because the poseability and tightness of the joints are spot on.

Don't be. It really doesn't look that much larger, I discovered, some £45 quid later. But I agree with you about the medicom body. If only it was larger it would easily be the best 1/6 body out there.

And more durable. My Indy figures have been fine but I'm always afraid to touch them after my symbiote Spidey shattered two seconds out of its box.

I hear ya both!

The first Mdicom figure I got was a Stormtrooper, his left shoulder disintegrated for no good reason. (I belive a moth may have farted in his general direction...)

However to be fair, I just recently received HT Abe Sapien, and his right knee has snapped. (Another UK freak CrimsonBob. Had the same thing with Hellboy but broken in the box!)

So it's not restricted to Medicom though you hear of more brakage issues with them.

As to the size of the massive body, I wasn't expecting to gain any height, just wanted to fill out the shirt and trousers a bit more, don't you think of will achieve that Captain Britain?

Your right, I don't want to spend £45 shipping a body from America to see no improvement. PM me if you want to sell me yours cheaper!

I flipped it a while back unfortunately - sorry! I mean, it's up to you, maybe it will look better to you and if you don't like it you can always cut your losses by filpping it as I did. If you do like it you can flip the smaller Medicom body. A word of warning, the Indy hands won't work on a Medicom Massive.

Even as is I still thought it looked great with some of the poses you can do; I just decided I only wanted one Indy figure and settled for a customised SSC Indy. But there's still a lot to enjoy about the Medi Indy if you don't mind the scale.

BTW I'd strongly recommend a repaint - Zuno and Mindbook have both done superb repaints and I hear Kuato has too.

I'm actually pretty happy with him as he is, might just try a bit of a fat suit job (i.e. wrap him in toilet roll) to pad it all out a bit LOL

Think I'll save the £45 and put it towards Vader, Han & Luke Stormies, Henry Senior, Sandtrooper ... Expensive few months coming up!!!

Hi all.

Here are a few pics of my Indy! Glad I decided not to buy the "Massive" body, I have wrapped his torso and groin with tissue paper, it hasn't effected articulation at all and he fills his clothes much better now! Best of all it cost nothing as opposed to £50!
