There's alot missing on this game that was in the first that really sucks. I always level up powers myself, but since there are only four I just decided to go ahead and let it do it automatically. I also dislike how the boosts go for the entire team instead of how you used to find armor and equipment that you could choose who would use it. Still its a really fun game though.

Yeah I miss that stuff as well, and I really don't like the locations you visit in this game. The first game was so cool when you went to Asgard...now we get to go to Wakanda? meh.


~~~When do you unlock Hulk??? I just played through the game as Anti-Regulation and there are only 2 characters left to unlock and one of them is the Hulk.

You have to find five gamma regulators. At least you do on PS3, but I would assume it is the same.

Thanks man. I found 4 so of course I need 5 for Hulk.

~~As much as I like this game it just doesn't compare to the first one for me.
1. It seems a lot shorter.
2. Less characters
3. Locations--Besides the prison level the entire game is on Earth, the first game took place across the entire Marvel universe.
4. Watered down the RPG elements
5. The co-op didn't feel the same as from the first game.

I had something weird happen while I was playing before. When I was doing the simulation exercises none of the bad guys attacked. They just stood around. Anyone have that happen before?

Yeah that happened to me several times while playing through the regular missions. Both the bad guys and the computer controlled heroes were just standing around like they were on lunch break.

Well that sucks. At least its not just my game. It'll piss me off if it happens during regular game play. Well more so than it did during the sim missions.

okay, so I went out today supposedly to buy this game but the 60 dollah price tag scared me away so I ended up buying a comic book and a chocolate muffin!....a very satisfying day, indeed!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 DLC Coming Back for a Limited Time

Abruptly taken off the marketplace with no warning back in January after less than three months in existence, the Character Pack that adds an extra 250 gamerscore will be returning to the marketplace through the end of the 2010 calendar year, as confirmed by an admin on the MUA2 forums. She also confirmed that they will not be putting out a "Gold Edition" of the game that will include the extra DLC on disc as they did with MUA1, so this will be the final chance at these DLC achievements. Stay tuned for another news post when the content is officially available, and be sure to grab it before the year is out if you want to get your 1250 in MUA2.



"So here is the news - and this is part of what was keeping me super busy behind the scenes - we did it! We made our case (your fan support helped), begged, pleaded, cajoled and didn’t give up and were able to convince the ‘powers that be’ to bring MUA2 DLC back!! This is really happening. And you are the FIRST to know.

In terms of timing, now that it’s been approved, we need to coordinate to get this back up on Xbox Live and PSN. I am hoping we can get this up on XBL before the 4th of July but that might be wishful thinking - we are trying. As soon as I know definite timing, I will let you know.

And this is important - I want to make sure this is super clear from the beginning - all good things must come to an end and we are only allowed to have the MUA2 DLC back up through the end of 2010. So there will be about a 6 month window to download the content again, and then it will be gone for good.
