That is a nutty amount considering the Mariners are so far back having the best pitcher in the league start 40 games a year won't even bring you to contention.

I don't get it.

They need to deal him. Now with that contract it will make it harder because only a handful of teams can afford him.

King Felix gets 7/175 from the Mariners.

Verlander can now ask for $200 million and not be unrealistic.

If they were going to trade him it would have been before signing this deal.

His trade value just crashed.

On his prior contract almost any team in contention would have wanted him for a rental. Now its down to only the rich. Just eliminated 25 teams from the trade list.

If they were going to trade him it would have been before signing this deal.

We'll have to wait and see if he actually finishes with Seattle this season.

Does Braun think we are stupid? Can't wait for MLB to hand down a suspension on him. They did it to Manny without having a positive test. Except they actually have a positive test on Braun.

I haven't really followed all the news regarding the Jays off season acquisitions but, the team will be a force to be reckoned with for sure, can't wait until home opener at the Rodgers Center.

Cardinals/Giants/Braves in the WC. Not sure which two.

Blue Jays win the AL East
