So my G.I.Joe Grunt just arrived from GG and I am very excited about this piece!

Well I just got home from work and indeed Grunt was waiting at my doorstep I'll crack him open soon, shoot some photos and might even have time to do a review today. If ROCK 'N ROLL was anything to go by I'm sure Grunt will not disappoint. I encourage those haven't yet jumped on the line to do so if you had these figures as a kid, I know a lot of people had issue with the sideshow line not being faithful to the original line, these are dead on reproductions to those OG figures, not to say they compare to todays highend sixth scale in terms of detail cause they don't of course, but the nostalgia value alone for me is higher than any other figures I've picked up in the past 5 years.

I absolutely love this line, yeah there the strait arm versions and we all want the swivel arm battle grip, maybe these aren't your favorite characters from the line, but if we don't support these we may not get to the ones we want most of all, I would hate to see this line end with only 5 joes, we need Cobras too, so check one out and support the line, yo joe!!

I can understand wanting to wait for your favorite figure, I don't expect many will try to complete the whole line at this price point and space restrictions always a consideration for most collectors.

Grunt looks good. Haven't pulled the trigger on him yet.

He is a welcome addition to my collection, not a fan favorite for all but still a core character and a true original G.I. Joe.

I've been on a GI Joe kick ever since I got my GG figures, I found a pretty fun game called Toy Solders war chest hall of fame edition which has some classic 80's toys that you can do battle with, Gijoe and cobra included.

I saw a trailer for that. Assumed you could only be Duke, but I see Bazooka and Grunt(?) there. Who else is playable? Cool that Cobra Troopers, Crimson Guards, and B.A.T.s are enemies.

You also get a ton of vehicles and playsets to use, its pretty epic, I've only downloaded the game today and haven't got to far, you can use duke to run and gun, grunt and bazooka man the outposts, there is also some sort of squad that flint can lead but I haven't gotten that far yet. I've also seen other joes hanging out on the battlefield like Flash, On the flip side you can also play as cobra commander just like duke.

I got the Mini Figures today with bonus cards from the SDCC, I was a little taken back at how small they are, they really are tiny
