Granted Trev's sculpt will be insane but I can't see Scott's outfit being topped. I'd probably go for a Dirty Harry. Actually I'd really like to get an extra headsculpt to turn into a Jonathan Hemlock from the Eiger Sanction. One of my favorite books and I liked the movie.

As for respecting another artists work... I don't see disrespect ralk come up when 5 different guys make the same zombie TV show character... There is room for everyone.

Trevor did good on the last Clint Eastwood sculpt. I wish I would have gotten the Clint cowboy but skipped on it. I don't see anything but improvement this time since finishinga Clint before. Great character who translate well to 1/6. It would be awesome if they can do a few of the different handguns to go with it(ie. 357 magnum, .44 magnum, .44 magnum automag).
Unless youve seen the sculpt, and who knows maybe you have, i think it would be impossible to say this iminime sculpt will surpass all Dirty Harry sculpts. My reasoning? Look at their track record. Great figs, but the sculpts are hit n miss.

I'm curious about the response this thread is getting. It seems like people are criticizing this release because of Scott's. Now, I asked Scott about it before, and I respected his input and didnt pursue it further, but others did, and, frankly, I'm happy about that, as I wanted to see this character get the same treatment Blondie did. However, back to what I was saying before, it seems kind of hypocritical to be chastising these guys for moving forward with Harry after Scott did, when Scott is moving forward with Travis Bickle, while Rainman is. I get that it was in the works before Rainman announced his, but, nevertheless, people were also throwing around Harry as an idea since the early days of the cowboy thread.
I just want to know what the reason for the hostility is?

I said it WILL BE... not already. But yes pics will come, but itll take some time... just like the original secret project. Reasons being the same... so you have to be patient just like you all were during the first Secret Project...
Batfan: for one thing, Scott has said that he will likely just do a Bickle HS now since Rainman is doing a full figure. It is also different because neither of those figures are out yet, so people can make a choice. A lot of people jumped on Scott's Harry thinking it'd be the only one we'd see for a while, only to hear about this project just weeks after Scott's sets came down.

Nevertheless, I hardly see the need for hostility. It's, quite simply, another option. Is it out of support for Scott? He sold all his sets, so there doesn't really seem to be an issue. If you bought Scott's, and are happy with it, good on you; it's a beautiful piece of work.

No hostility here just surprised Iminime arn't coming out with something a bit more original for there next figure but as you say and as I've already said in this thread options are always good. I'm sure this fig will be a hit especially with Trev's sculpt. Have to disagree with you about Blondie tho its a beautiful figure don't get me wrong but its not even in the top 5 custom figs of all time for me probably doesnt even make the top 10. Its all subjective tho lol

i will prolly end up getting this and this will prolly be my last clint custom....got a blondie...and got 2 dirty harry's...that actually sounds like a bad porno in the making....think about it....LOL
