Hot Toys: The Dark Knight: 1/4 The Joker

Having missed out on the 1/6 versions of this figure (I do however own the Bank Robber 2.0) I will be perfectly happy with this. It includes a great amount of accessories. I do agree with some that wish the alternate head was a different style but hey, it's a second sculpt! The likeness isn't quite where I want it to be but, it isn't far off enough to deter me from purchasing. This as well as the Begins Batman will be a day 1 PO.

I agree! There are so many accessories and different posing options that you almost need 2 of the Jokers and 2 Begins Batman figures to pose them in their different styles.

I think it looks pretty great. But the alt sculpt is a strange choice. Just a straight up, distressed paint version would be far preferable.

But it's garbage, the headsculpt, the clothes it's just amateur-if it was 2007 maybe I'd be impressed but it aint

To be honest I don't look for a 'tribute to JC Hong and Yulli' when I buy a figure for my shelf.

Perhaps that's just me.

While I, and I'm sure most, agree with you... based on the wording in the FB post, this figure is a tribute also to JC Hong and Yulli regardless of what we look for when we're buying. it sounds as the intent was to also show case Yulli's and JC Hong's work in the same sculpt and their way of doing that is a half and half paint job

Without a doubt SS will have it for PO. As to when I couldn't tell you. I could see within a few weeks as a possibility.

They missed an opportunity to include a badass laughing sculpt and maybe the RPG-7 like EB did but overall, an awesome piece. Makes me super tempted to start collecting 1/4 figures but the logical side of my brain keeps yelling "You have no space for them, idiot!"

Oh well, I'm happy with my 2.0 set as it stands.

After seeing the promo shots I really start to like it. But I don't know if I'll '500 usd' like it. Too bad I won't have the time to make up my mind because I can see this sell out in just a few days.

He looks a bit better in these pics. I like how colorful he is. I kinda wish they would've included is the shrimp cocktail.

"Dual-Faced" sculpt is neat, but I would've preferred it if they'd painted it all the way, or given us another sculpt altogether. It looks pretty solid as an interrogation sculpt... from one side.

I'll probably use all of my rewards points on this to knock it down a little.

man its hard to read these forums when deciding on a figure some love some hate it, dont have a ledger figure since started late and need to pick one up so was considering this since its probably going to be lower prices than what the dx joker is selling for right now.

This figure is proving about as divisive as BvS it seems.

I plan on picking it up anyway. Probably sell out fast and end up going for ridiculous prices on the secondary market later on.

Is it just me or does the duel head look more realistic and more like Ledger? I think it's a pretty cool idea though not at the expensive of a fully painted interrogation head.

Seeing these pictures I'm actually digging the figure quite a bit more now. It's just damn, that price would be hard to swallow especially as someone who has only ever bought a single Hot Toys. Wonder if I should sell my Dark Knight Armory and NECA 1/4 Joker for this.... I definitely prefer the 1/4 scale.
