This is real hard core figure porn. Damn epic photography, it really shows how good the figure is.

I got my Stealth figure yesterday, and given that I had a Midas when it came out, the whole experience felt a bit surreal. I knew it was a new figure, but it felt so oddly familiar taking it out of the package. Anyways, it definitely looks fantastic in person, especially the matte black pieces. And the faceplate looks so much better with the smaller eyes (and dark paint scheme). Like many other people have mentioned, this really needs the right lighting to look good. It's great under cooler/bluer lights, but with a soft white incandescent, it looks dull and flat.

While fiddling with it, I started to remember some of the things that bothered me about the Midas, but the paint job here looks much nicer than the gold on the Midas (which did look pretty fantastic, to be fair). Right now, I'm quite glad I ordered it, and part of me is actually pretty happy having it as my only Iron Man figure. The only thing that bothers me is that the color palette of my figure collection is almost entirely black, grey, or brown (Cap's red, white, and blue stands out); so I might want to pick up a red/gold armor at some point, but I'm content right now.

Lack of color, you say?

Might be time to pre-order a big GREEN friend. Maybe one with anger issues? :)

I have yet to pre-order Mr. Hulk myself, because I'm a little concerned with how I'll display him. Does he fit in a Detolf cabinet? I feel like I would need to modify/drop a shelf to get him in there!

I'm with you...I haven't ordered Hulk yet either...I'm trying to be good and not go too crazy. :lol I'm trying to stick to Ironman and Cap right now, but it's becoming increasingly difficult. Hopefully someone else who has the Hulk can answer your question. Stay strong! :hi5:

Hulk will fit in your detolf with a slight shelf mod. Go to your local hardware store and pick up a couple of u bolts. I forget the size, believe there 3/8". Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong2015-07-31 11.58.08.jpg

Dude, that is a brilliant idea! I've got a beautiful Bowen Thor museum pose that I would love to throw into one of my detolfs. Thank you for this! :hi5:

I've been here a month and I've learned a ton already...I've also learned I need to get a second job because this addiction is hardcore. :rotfl

Yeah. It is not a cheap hobby. And you came in at like the worst time for that. Two years ago the release pace was 1/3 what it is now. Or at least this year. And if you project forward with DC finally deciding to release more then 3 movies in 20 years it's just going to get worse.

I definitely wish I discovered these HT IM figures a few years ago. When I look back at those retail prices I can't help but

:lol Yeah, I jumped into the fun a little late...prices are tough these days but that's ok, I love these figures and I'll work a little harder to afford them.

So I finally got around to in boxing this and I have the stand issue. I've read a few pages back, but my problem is the hole in the stand is too big for the pole. Anyone have this problem and solutions to this issue? I don't think removing the rubber from the pole will help as the hole in the stand is too big... smh
